I've got the Hilton booked and also have an AirBnB that I booked before that with a superhost who was like, "well played, I'll honor the reservation even though I'd usually charge a lot more." If one cancels on me, I'll have the other. But if both cancel, I'll be super bummed.

I kind of want to call the Hilton to confirm we're all good, but maybe that's a bad idea.
There's zero upside to calling the Hilton. Even if you talk to a manager and explain your concerns, and even if the manager tells you your reservation is fine and won't be cancelled, it doesn't mean anything. Do you think they'll put a note in there that says "MUST KEEP ORIGINAL RATE BECAUSE HE CALLED!" If they later decide to cancel reservations (which they won't), they're not going to let you keep yours because Fred at the front desk told you everything was cool.
The potential downside is the small chance that you alert them to the reality that they charged 25% of the rate they easily could have charged, and then Fred contacts corporate to see what can be done to shaft everyone. That's extremely unlikely as well but why give them the opportunity when you're not going to accomplish anything of value on the call anyway?
Just trust in the fact that large corporate hotel chains generally stand behind the rates they offer with very few exceptions.

We even got a really shitty hotel to honor their rates after they tried to jack them up after the coach dates were released one year because we went through booking.com
Their customer service handled it 100% (probably threatened to remove them from the site, if I had to guess)

That sucks! I hate that they have airbnb type options on there because I usually don't want to go that route at all and it makes it annoying to sift through them. Also I'm guessing the airbnb peeps have a right to cancel, but I bet if they tried to change the rate they'd help you out.
W2 can usually be had for retail or under, but I wonder if this year is different
This is gonna be the Beyonce year on steroids. And looks like Im buying for my gf's sister who now wants to come after ''retiring'' in 2019. Fortunately can use the AMEX link to try and get around some traffic.

I always get weekend 1 GA passes smoothly with advanced sale, so I'm assuming weekend 2 would be butter with advanced sale. And in my small experience doing weekend 2 during regular sale, I had to buy GA + Shuttle because regular GA was gone already. But that was before Lyte, so w2 GA might be easy to get that way
how hard do yall think it will be to exchange a w2 wristband + shuttle pass for w1 through lyte tomorrow?
No idea because its never been done before. I think they shouldve maybe allowed swaps to be done first before a sale so they dont have to have mix ups anywhere. But they probably built in leeway if theres too many swaps and stuff despite if it ''sells out''.

i've had two vrbo's cancel on me this week, one saying "it was already rented + required a 31 night minimum" and the other "the owner is using it that weekend and it was a glitch that it was marked available." got a third place to stay but it's smaller than i want and more expensive. tbh i've got massive anxiety about the whole situation, really thought i was doing something avoiding airbnb for once but i guess all these sites are the same after all ugh
