Considering almost everyone else will have moved on from their 2020 line ups because they chose to go forward with 2021, how does Coachella look with keeping it all the same from what will be 2 years. The expectation now is so much higher because they did not do 2021. You’re going to get a lot of “thats it?” reactions come January. This is also magnified due to the price increase. You’re not paying an extra $100 just for the hell of it.
they'll look pretty good considering no other festival announced yet has any of their headliners
I will say it again, even though this will not happen, if Coachella dropped their exact same lineup as 2020 and merely shifted around names on the poster who have blown up, people would be ecstatic.
Looking back, and while the subs feel thin, it’s still a very deep lineup

Almost no one is gonna say "that's it" to a lineup with Frank Ocean and RATM on it
they will cause theyll see no difference as to why they forked over at least an extra $100 a ticket.

in my opinion, the only way that the Coachella subs feel thin is by comparing it to Primavera Sound. Way stronger than any other fest

Missed this tour announcement the other day, but Black Country, New Road are out with their two march LA dates. If the fest's looking to freshen up their lineup based on this year's releases, that would've been an obvious choice.

Well I hope they still find a way to book The Armed despite the january LN date in LA. Would be interesting to see peoples reaction if they were scheduled before somebody more prominent and the crowd had to wait it out.

This was a bummer to see. I hope they book Squid and For Those I Love in the Sonora next year. Both of those artists have released great albums this year.

Squid is touring this fall so that’s more likely, yeah. Honestly, I’m just glad I get to see BC, NR
