I mean, in the end there really doesn't need to be a "reason" why it's coming out late. It sucks, it's shitty of Goldenvoice, there's nothing we can do about it except be annoying about it online, and that's it.

I started the day enjoying the jokes but after I worked for several hours and still no set times, I started worrying more about this.
If it’s one of my must sees then I hope them speedy and healthy recovery(or anyone in the world that gets it), but I also get the right to slap any COVID denier from now on if it is the case. Stupid example but “I missed Maneskin because of your lies” SLAP
If the whole "agents are fighting over set times until the moment it goes live" thing is true, it makes sense sorting out set times in April 2022 for a lineup mostly booked in Fall 2019 is going to be a cluster.

I agree, he’s just the only one who said anything about COVID, and that rumor got legs on Reddit because it was coming from someone “connected to the industry”
The delay could very well be someone getting COVID, it’s just not anything more than speculation at this point
Current Reddit rumor is that an artist (unknown) caught COVID and that is what is causing the delay

They likely made everyone keep quiet til they were in the clear. You havent seen any artist say they got covid and all that prior to the fest saying something.

I hope the delay on set times and map ends up being a blip but I am a little worried there may be bigger issues before the weekend is over. Coachella has really done a great job on the customer experience in recent years and that takes a lot of planning and a lot of people. I hope they can still deliver that given how staffing has been such an issue for companies for the last year-plus.

the “W2 is better because they smooth out all the errors from W1” thing has always been overstated, but feeling like it could be a significant difference this year.
