its 4 on the floor dance music, but definitely more Crush influenced than disco influenced. He did a couple really cool blends at the end of both that took him a second to get into but really really worked. He played both of the new tracks and they went off

I think the internet lost their shit more over 2NE1 reuniting. But Im sure Gecs getting cut is a bunch of bullshit. Most acts have been really good on time and maybe going over a min or 2 at the end. But nothing too grave outside of Idles that I experienced with their late start and just going over 5 mins.
we’ve just been getting waters at vendors for the most part but there seemed to be ample water yesterday. the one in btw the Gobi and Mojave had no line later in the day
Gonna try yuma today. Water stations seemed a bit better when I went during busy times at like 6pm ish and in the terrace mind you where its plenty busy. And I dont think it was brought up but the permanent restrooms are gender free. ( well one side at least ) That one side which is entirely stalls now. And the other side didnt have the same signage but was essentially a free for all in the mens side. I really dont think people care either if its mixed unless something bad happened. But overall everyone just wants to take a piss and get outta there.
The water issues are more people not knowing where the refill stations are, IMO. Directly to the right of the Gobi (in fairness, this one’s invisible from more than 40 feet away), and on the right leaving from Spectra to the Gobi both basically never have a line and decent water pressure.
Quick Day 2 recap before I leave to catch Altin Gün: Didn’t make it festival grounds before Japanese Breakfast because of exhaustion > she was really good, obviously > Rina Sawayama was amazing as well > first half of 88rising, which turned out to be much better than I expected > went to Disclosure but it was super packed, but what I heard was very enjoyable > Pabllo Vittar was fun, but I didn’t like the music that much tbh > Danny Elfman was the set of the day, must see for WK2 people > Megan Thee Stallion was fun, but again, not very impressing > left early to avoid traffic from parking, it was very smooth this time.
Yes Emo Nite was a fucking throwback for the ages. I don’t know if they’ll play the same arrangement of songs so I won’t say what was played but just know if you fucked with FBR artists you’ll have a good time. The special guests weren’t for me but I’m sure a lot of people loved it. My high school self was beaming nearly every second of the set.
Disappointed to hear of all the Yuma struggles. PDM is a top 5 set for me and I'm planning on skipping Mika and the Hu (and prob Arooj Aftab) for him. I damn better get in lol.
