New DARKSIDE album announced. I know I've heard Nicolas Jaar wasn't too happy about his last solo Coachella appearance, but imagine Against All Logic on Friday in the Yuma and DARKSIDE to close the Gobi or Mojave on Sunday?
Skipping DARKSIDE in 2014 is still my biggest Coachella regret so I really hope they play next year. I’ve enjoyed both singles released so far.
May be in the minority here but I'm not a fan of the single they dropped today, pretty lukewarm on Liberty Bell as well (although it has grown on me a bit). Still really excited for the new album though.

I mean I don’t think the singles are game changers by any means, but I never got super excited about other DARKSIDE singles. I think they are the definition of an act that needs to be seen live to be fully appreciated.

Liberty Bell does nothing for me but I like the new one a decent amount. I'm a big fan of their previous work.

Just the opposite for me on Liberty Bell vs the new one.

I'm starting to think more of the 2020 lineup will be kept intact for 2022 than I had previously thought. At least think they'll try and run it back with those 3 headliners, but I refuse to get excited about Frank being booked again.
Wow, I would've thought they'd be out given the rumors and all. If they're still on, I'm guessing all three 2020 headliners will be back.
How do you guys feel about this?
I would love for Frank to be there ofc, but how do others feel about the same 3 headliners?
I wouldn’t mind seeing RATM, but depends who they are up against
I like Travis as well, but already seen him at 2017, so it depends who he is up against as well
I wonder if people would be underwhelmed to see a decent amount of the same lineup after 2 years
I liked the lineup a lot and I am still hoping for a lot of changes
Based on these other festivals selling out and not having Coachella for two years, I predict people won't care too much and will be desperate to go at all.

I agree, just wonder if it’s at all a bit of a letdown, but likely won’t matter
I think a decent amount of lines 2-3 will be changed
Many names seemed forced up there or seemed like they were late bookings
Some names are now too big as well
Please god just let Frank perform or if not at Coachella, another LA show

Maybe it feels a little anticlimactic but just because its always super interesting to see how people react to the headliners/lineup every year and to a certain extent it cuts into my lineup discovery as I'll be familiar with a larger portion than usual.
The 2020 headliners were very strong despite not caring much for seeing Travis though, and having a strong lineup ultimately matters more than just that initial hype around a completely fresh new lineup.
Random thought about undercard: I think it'd be cool for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib to come back to the line up, but separate this time. Madlib doing a DOOM/Madvillain tribute set on his own, and Gibbs getting his own set. With Alfredo doing so well for him last year, and him preparing to drop his first big label album, he'll probably be higher on the line up now. His singles for it so far have been amazing.
