Cool seeing the poster today and even cooler creating a thread in the festival section. I'm not going, but we have friends who usually go up there every year. I always dig their lineups. 3 days of moe. and 3 days of Umphrey's is always greatness. Ween, Billy Strings, Three 6 Mafia, Tipper, STS9, Wood Brothers, Lettuce, Shpongle and a Simon Potsford live set, EOTO, Spafford, Break Science, Doom Flamingo, Maddy O'Neal, Consider the Source, Sunsquabi are all always on the list of shows I'm going to if in town or sets I'd see playing at a festival I'm at. Good for them, and I hope it's a good festival.

Jam isn't generally my scene but there's a lot of stuff here I'm pretty into, plus my old college roommate does this most years so I'm considering see if he and his crew might welcome a Scamp newbie! Missing concerts a ton
On Twitter they teased that they'd be doing lineup additions at some point in April, and it appears the official playlist they uploaded to Spotify has those new acts already... nice little unintentional leak on their end! Just from the top lines looks like JRAD, Snails, PPPP, Jade Cicada and The Record Company will be added (playlist here for reference)
Damn, I love this. I’ve always wanted to go and it’s one of the closer festivals to the twin cities. Too bad this isn’t one week later and I would have considered doing this B2B with Roo.

So the website says campgrounds open at noon on Friday for the non thuraday pre party folks. Anyone who's been, does this hold true? Should we plan to arrive right around noon or would we be able to get in earlier?
Just bought my tix for this one for the first time! Super pumped. Any tips on the fest are welcome. Also, hello old friends
How’d this go? I’m curious and seriously debating it next year since it’s only 6.5 hours away from the twin cities.
It was a blast!! The woods are really cool and I'd suggest getting a pre party pass and arrive on Thursday to get a nice shaded spot in the woods. There is no shortage of music. I'm not really into the electronic stuff a ton and I still had full days of music I wanted to see until 4am.
5 sets of UM was obviously one of the highlights for me. Stages are close and easy to get to. The names did confuse me a bit though.
The biggest thing is hauling all of your shit into the festival. You absolutely need a good wagon! One that goes well in sand and dirt. I will say the heat was brutal but that's with almost any fest in the middle of the summer. I'd definitely recommend this fest if you dig the lineup.

Good to hear. I actually like that they normally have this over Memorial Day weekend. I was looking at costs, and it almost seems worth it to do one of the VIP packages because it looked like those granted additional access to the LN shows and better camping too? I luckily have a hauling cart from all the times doing Tent Only at Bonnaroo so that wouldn’t be an issue and I figured that was the setup based on everything I’d previously read.

Yeah VIP gets you access to the red barn for additional shows. I thunk it comes with free beer too. Not sure about camping but I'd assume so. This was the first tear I was able to go since I usually go to Dark Star Jubilee every memorial day weekend. I'll have to decide what to do next year if it goes back to its normal dates.
