Can anyone provide any insight into the apparent changes to VIP tickets this year? As of today on Roo's website, it looks like they are selling them in singles. (Longtime VIP attendee, just looking for some BTS info on this year's change)

They sold them as singles in 2019 as well. Maybe earlier then that not sure, but definitely last year.
Nothing to it really, you can just go and buy a single VIP ticket if you want it.

I think I remember hearing something like that later in the sales cycle (I'm not 100% because I bought soon after the lineup drop) but I think that was only as they were trying to sell out the last of VIP. I'm mostly wondering how camp spaces are handled for single tickets, as the sizing was always for two tickets and--as of 2019--was only a few feet bigger in length than GA (so I can't imagine would be a great deal if split in two...).

Iirc you had to buy a separate VIP camping pass. So if you so choose you could have a VIP campsite all to yourself.
