Anyone want to look back at KPO's posts and try to figure out why he was whacked N1? Usually Mafia go for the Inspector at least a little bit. KPO mostly talks about Jortles and other known townies (Silver and I assume Potent). He does have an unexplained vote for Dan, and mentions he thinks Rummy is being quieter (but he also says he's not sus of Rummy). Idk, any thoughts?

If I'm wrong, the only way we lose is if it's Rummy/Dan/Theo, and Rummy voted for Dan out the gate D1. After she got so much flack for last game for being known for voting for her teammates, I highly doubt she did that this game. Even in our Mafia chat last game she said she was gonna switch it up. So I feel safe with my vote.

What are you even talking about? It is factually and demonstrably incorrect that I haven't said anything in days. To the point where I didn't even feel necessary to respond to the accusation, and am only doing so now because you're belaboring a lie.
Round Three Jortles - 5 (Tranter, Dan, Potent, Silver, Otter) Potent - 5 (Maddog, Rummy, Jaz, KPO, Jortles) Dan - 1 (Theo)
Based on this count to end Round three, I think there’s a fair chance of a Mafia between Rummy and Maddog. From my perspective at least. It’s a little weaker read of a split than we usually get D1 because we know Theo was Maf, and him being on Dan makes it a little more likely there were two Maf on Jortles or Potent. If Maddog and Rummy are both town, it also ups the chances Potent was Maf. That’s not my initial read on him and we shouldn’t let it guide us but something to keep in mind.

Yes and no. You'll notice I said "From my perspective, at least". I know the likelihood that I'm Mafia is 0%, which obviously narrows down the pool of potential Mafia on Potent. Just like the pool of potential Mafia on Jortles is narrowed down for you if you are in fact town. So yes, everyone else should have a baseline suspicion of me, just as they should for any other player they don't know the role of.
Otter is on my sus list too, but I’m thinking objectively here: if we keep Md around, I think it’ll just continue to be a source of apprehension for town
I had this sort of typed out earlier but wasn't sure if it was necessary but now that it's come up again, just incredibly again, but he is in fact dead, and re: mafia
-i (and jaz) were w him as mafia during role reveals, he was in a 2 person runoff w inspector, and he played the no it's ok, kill me DONT kill inspector, but it very quickly was revealed he was mafia.
-him going straight for me, claiming I was the given, would be an unnecessary draw to himself as knowing too much. yes he was in the runoff so it didn't really matter but w/o the role reveal, he could've played more under the radar and just been his normal no kill inspector self.
instead he went on a small tirade, turned his eyes on me, his last words being I don't follow, not checking in after jortles clears me, and then dying.
just feel like if he was under the cover that he is in a runoff w inspector and it's a sure thing to be exiled, and without role reveal, he would instead try to put together theories of other people that weren't the fake given he knew was not the given.

If we exile Tranter, we will receive the role of his guess, which is a 33% chance of being Mafia, and then we start D4 down two townies (Tranter and the whack). It'd be do-or-die for the next two rounds.
If we exile an unknown who is town and force the Mafia to whack Tranter, he'll have a 40% chance of getting Mafia with his guess (because one of the six unknowns was exiled, reducing the pool to five). Then we still start D4 down two townies with it being do-or-die for the next two rounds.
If we exile an unknown who is Mafia and force the Mafia to whack Tranter, he'll have a 20% chance of getting Mafia, but even if he doesn't then we have two rounds to try - that combined with the info from his guess puts us in a pretty good position imo.
As far as I can tell the first two scenarios are pretty much the same, but not exiling Tranter gives us slightly better odds of him guessing a townie. I think keeping Tranter alive is the way to go if we think the Mafia is gonna whack Tranter.
So I guess the question is really if they don't whack him - does it make more sense to have a known townie alive on D5 but not getting the Oracle guess, or to exile him now to get his guess, only to have that guess be the N4 whack if the guess is town, making D5 a tossup (if we made it that far)? That would imply that Otter and I had coordinated that exchange. But my vote is on Otter because I think he’s the one most likely to be Mafia. With Inspector and Oracle dead there’d be no reason for me to distance from him since there are no more roles to be revealed.

Think we need to have the conversation on how many maf are left. If there’s still two we really only need to find the one who’s most town and exile one of the other two out of the group of otter/rummy/Jaz

Okay so I reread the Jortles reveal thing and I mean Maddog just has to be mafia. I really can't imagine dude would say he's just gonna smash some claws and then also make a joke about giving the 3rd in "Steven"
That exchange is just so weird to me if Maddog is town. It reads especially like Maddog was just joking about his impending doom then when Jortles backtracked he felt like he had a chance to work himself back in the game. If he really was town then he did no favors at all by not defending himself

Also to that end. For the sake of argument I will agree that page 11 makes rummy and Dan look town. At least they do if Maddog is mafia. If maddogs town I can definitely see dan making a joke like his "what I'd give to see the mafia thread rn" but that's a huge stretch.
Like Jortles said- jaz and otter both froze during the reveal thing. I also agree that mafia has to be between them. Will reread otter and jaz posts individually to decide which one I am more sus of but at the current moment I'm still on jaz and even with otter having the revote I think that's the best runoff

I also had a good idea regarding role reveals: in among us how they say like "2 impostors remain" I think it'd be cool if starting maybe day 3 or 4 we got how many mafia were left- no other confirmations
