My relationship with Infinity War/Endgame is the same as my relationship with Kill Bill Vol. 1/2: Really disliked the first one, loved the second one, which shouldn't be the case because they're basically two halves of one story, but there you go.
To me, it felt like Civil War was basically the kinda-icky-if-you-think-about-it fan wank that was the airport fight scene (Hey, look, Captain America threw a jetway at a teenager he had NO IDEA was strong enough to avoid being crushed to literal death by it! Hilarious!) and a bunch of stuff they came up with in an attempt to narratively justify it (yes, yes, I know Civil War was a comics plot line, but this was really a shadow of it, IMO). It did give us Zemo, though, and it'd have been a shame to miss out on the only redeeming part of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier.
Really disliked Kill Bill Part 1 but loved part 2… wow
There are movies that can pull off being all fight scene (see: The Raid), but I didn't feel like KBv1 did it. Plus, give me the Bride's five-second fight with Bill at the end of Vol. 2 over her hacking a bunch of anonymous minions to death with no real sense of stakes for half an hour in Vol. 1 any day.

I can’t imagine wanting Lizzo over Drake. If they’re going to get a cornball headliner I’d much rather have the one with 100 hits instead of the one with 3

I'll take drake over Lizzo 10/10 on record but his show definitely felt like it needed to be streamlined in 2015, hers was definitely a tighter set, and since then he's put out a ton more songs so I imagine it's still going to be real fractured

What do you mean by it needing to be streamlined? Like he did a lot of snippets to fit more songs in?

yeah it was just a really long setlist for what was essentially just an hour of Drake on stage (j Cole had a whole bit), but it was a lot of unfinished songs and abrupt dj interruptions as transitions
could've been fleshed out a little better, the setlist is great looking at it but still feel like things could've been cut and more played out

They just need to give Drake as many sets as they give Phish

sort of had a shot to go to this and have regretted it, but look at this mammoth

Oh my god! This looks amazing. Opening with Draft Day is awesome, love that song. The fact he shouts out Johnny Manziel and Andrew Wiggins gets funnier every year.
That run of HYFR -> The Motto -> Headlines -> Pop That would give me a heart attack

Good thing Roo was canceled, I almost camped with a complete monster
Lol. I've tried. I just can't get into either. I even stopped by Frank's Roo set for a song or two. I was planning on checking out Tyler 's Roo set, though.
