Are they even going to make it through those dates?
I am skeptical but, if the dates they have end up canceled/postponed, I would think that increases the chance of a roo booking. I guess I’d like to hear a new Fugees record.
If Bonnaroo rebooked Oysterhead as a subheadliner does Trey/TAB get a headline set or a suprise WITW set?
someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think trey has done two projects at one festival, at least not in the past several years. not sure if it would be worth it financially to get all the members of TAB down to a festival for a one-off, assuming oysterhead was touring, or vice versa.
Tool - Lil Nas X My Chemical Romance - Kaskade - Spiritualized
Lizzo - Tame Impala Wilco - Dolly Parton - Joe Bonamassa Superjam
Genesis - My Morning Jacket The Chainsmokers - Tenacious D - Brockhampton
not that i'd ever think genesis would play bonnaroo, but i think they are for real done now after these dates. collins is doing the whole show sitting in a chair, seems like he's in rough shape.

Bonnaroo ain't a competition between boomer acts and zoomer acts tho, also Dolly Parton is absolutely headlining as would MCR.
Dolly wouldn't headline. I could see her in the Buffalo Springfield slot although What seems more likely. She's a big artist, but not Bonnaroo headliner big.
MCR could headline, but doesn't have to. I agree they would be minimum 2nd on their day tho.

MCR dropped out of Coachella because they weren't gonna headline, why would they sub Roo?

To come back to Dolly, I'd love to see her at Bonnaroo, and looking at some old lineups you might be right. If Elton John and Billy Joel can be number 1, then she can too.

Rumor. MCR never stated that was the reason.. also, it depends on the whole lineup.

Previous lineups with how I feel they like to diversify lineup on top. Most years have a "classic" headliner. Someone who's been around a long time and would always headline. "Current" I would say is either a new headliner (would be considered smaller in previous years) or an older band that recently released new music. "Young" I would describe as a headliner for the younger audience. Mostly new bands, mostly edm and/or hip hop.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Billy Joel (classic) * Mumford and Sons (current) * Deadmau5 (young) 2015
Pearl Jam (classic/current) * Dead & Company (old/jam) * LCD Soundsystem (current/young) 2016
U2 (classic/old) * Red Hot Chili Peppers (classic/current) * The Weeknd (young) 2017
Eminem (classic/current) * The Killers (current) * Muse (current) 2018
Phish (3x) (classic/old) * Post Malone (young) 2019
Tool (classic/current) * Lizzo (current) * Tame Impala (young) 2020
