I didn't go in 2016 but I never understood the intense hate, that one looks way better than this thing. It just had some of the standard Bonnaroo garbage but plenty of good stuff.
2017 was much stronger at the top, both 2022 and 2017 had a mix of cool stuff and lame stuff mixed around in the undercard. 2017 probably had slightly more overtly lame stuff, but just by a hair.
2018 was actually Good, minus that top line, and 2019 was actually Great.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Saw All Time Low at Warped back in like 2012ish. They were collecting the bras of their underage fans on their mic stands. Their music is cringe and they're creepy. Why couldn't they have been Bloc Party As much as I dislike Judah & the Lion or most of the tik tok pop that is on this, that's not nearly as bad as booking 3 acts with sexual allegations against them.
This feels like they created two completely different lineups and then threw darts at a board to decide the final combined version. This feels like Roo
I’m a little surprised the backlash from this lineup isn’t fiercer. I would agree that the undercard is pretty solid, but that top 9 is so hard to look at.

Generally speaking I don't think it's a disaster outside of the top billing hip-hop acts. But to go J.Cole-MGK-Roddy Richh-21 Savage is close to as bad as you can get

Flipturn on Sunday are local to me and they are great live. Their studio stuff didn't really excite me until I saw them live but the band is tight and the front man has a huge stage presence

Nope, gotta sell at a loss. That's the risk you take with presale.
