south american lollapalooza lineups announced. doja and miley are headliner status.
so coldplay, tool, and rage against the machine are being tossed around as potential headliners. no way bonnaroo picks three rock bands for their top 3 (or top 2 imo). i say we get rage against the machine, miley takes lizzo's spot, travis scott as a young rap headliner to draw in more college kids, and swedish house mafia as the edm headliner because they aren't hitting the south on their 2022 fall tour.
Rage/Miley/Travis sounds like a damn good time to me
maybe too good to be true but i think it lines up. i'd be happy with it. rage and travis would be shared with coachella so maybe one gets swapped out. travis hasn't played bonnaroo since releasing sicko mode so i feel he's due just by relevance.
I don’t know why Miley would headline when she wasn’t headlining in 2020 and she didn’t headline any US fest she played this year.
Unless you’re saying the top 6 are all headliners then yeah.
She was the Thursday main stage headliner at Lolla this year and was actually really fucking good, played for about 1hr 40 minutes and owned the stage the whole time. Played basically all the songs an average Miley fan might wanna hear, I imagine you'd have to actively dislike her going into the show to not enjoy it.

I would love if we got Miley again! I was disappointed when she wasn't on the 2021 lineup. Not that it mattered in the end. I was just talking to my lady yesterday about all the anguish I felt about losing Lana, Janelle, and Gizz and in the end it was all for literally nothing. So silly to be angry at and dwell on things that you have no control over
The other day I put on Alt Nation on Sirius and apparently he has a new song. It is terrible. But new song, maybe new album, usually means tour. I quickly switched back to XMU.

Lol I'm well aware of the mindset probably 30% of the time, but it's so easy to get lost again. I'll still get you some water though Maybe Miley is performing up there?

Looks like Bonnaroo is updating the website. The cancellation notice is down. Maybe dates and/or presale info will come very soon?
I’m 200% certain this is because, in an embarrassing act of desperation, I sent them an email to beg them to announce the dates already. My work was trying to schedule a major event in mid-June, so I had no choice to send a message into the void. Can’t believe it worked - you can thank me later.
