Just caught up. Know youre dead now but I see what you were saying here. Dont believe it means Rummy is mafia though. When I was Inspector 2 games ago I was fucking livid that you and tranter kept repeatedly publicly making sure that everyone knew I had a role... and iirc you were just both asshole townies.
Our Town loves to put a spotlight on inspector and I hate it. So while I hate the post from Rummy, I think it can easily be a typical inforoo town move unfortunately. And actually it might be less likely for mafia to be like “so youre saying youre inspector?!”

im def not buying that those were two townies at the end given the amount of commotion. There was either something at stake or a bunch of townies just had a goddamn seizure

Honest question tho: when silv (or anyone, for that matter) says super early on d1 something like “I just know the one name,” is the rest of Town supposed to just not react? Ignore him? Agree with him?

He laid it on way too thick so I get your read of the situation I just dont see the value of highlighting it. If he was subtle enough about it I would have tried to let a page pass then move off him for a different made up reason to not draw any extra mafia attention to it.

He laid it on way too thick so I get your read of the situation I just dont see the value of highlighting it. If he was subtle enough about it I would have tried to let a page pass then move off him for a different made up reason to not draw any extra mafia attention to it.
Yeah if it had come off as an Actual Inspector Breadcrumb I would’ve done the same as you’re describing, but it was blunt and chaotic in a way that made me feel sus of him as potential mafia. And I just sorta resent how a couple people (not you) have stated that that means I was baiting for inspector. How could I have been baiting him to come out as inspector when my suspicion was that he was mafia?

Wouldn't have thought it would be Rummy. Would think she'd get a little heat today. She was asking a lot of questions and must have spooked them somehow.
I don't have a ton after my last read. I kind of don't think Silver was Mafia, but I don't know. Kinda was looking to focus on Potent and Rummy today. Maybe the whack will help on another read.
