im pretty sure the only person i played w that got a game ban was Fore because he missed multiple votes, and then in the end it was because he was in the hospital with serious injury.
so for the most part, unless someone is acting in bad faith i don't particularly care.
(though i probably shouldve gotten a suspension when i went in the rules thread and was laying on thick which rules i didn't agree with while dead lol)

they did become so. I took like a three year break.
Tbh the idea that someone should be banned (even if just for a game) for an accidental like of a post while scrolling or the accidental posting of a vague post without any names that’s deleted within 10 seconds, but that the utter malice shown by Viking wasn’t a bannable offense=absurd lol

In my view suspensions and bans should only be used when someone is acting maliciously or trying to ruin the game. Accidents are accidents. Now a ball busting might be in order for an accident lol, but nothing serious.
If accidents become a problem maybe we revisit it but yeah right now I think it should be treated as no harm intended so no foul.

he was Mafia in Game 89, alongside billybaroo (miss u) and someone else--Dragon? his "strategy," if you can even call it that, was to rail into me incessantly because i was his "number one suspect." could've been all fun and games except then it got super personal and malicious and he started taunting me and saying i was an idiot and my parents must be ashamed of me for how unintelligent i am. called me illiterate, etc. etc.
now all the while, i'm like "hey town, this guy is an ASSHOLE and also clearly is mafia" (which he was). he then just went harder at me, kept saying things like "Aww we have to spell it out for poor rummy, she isnt so bright, is she?"
Some notable quotes : "Your strategy nearly sunk us, and Rummy just is not that bright. If you are open to a change and willing to actually play the game, the I will reconsider for you, but sadly, Rummy is a case of bad genetics." "You are one of the dumbest players I have seen play this game and that is saying something. I don't need to play with you to know that. I read the old games and have seen how you play. You are a liability as a townie and not really good at hiding when you are mafia as evident this game. Sorry that reality hurts." "I include pictures and videos for you because I know you struggle with reading. You are welcome." "Going back to Rummy, as I have said, she is not that bright and every time she tried a defense in thread, it was getting ripped apart. She cracked and turned to these external proofs. Again, a ban of anyone for what happened this game would be ridiculous. I don't think it had a material impact on the game. That said, dead people need to quit talking in the thread, and after the mistake was made, it was exacerbated by the continued discussion of it. Stop talking when you're dead - that's why there's a dead thread, or the rules thread for Maddog to passive aggressively bitch about the rules he doesn't like when he's dead in a current game (jk mwah).
