Won’t speculate on who is the third since I don’t wanna be wrong, then maf can hide behind that narrative, and y’all know as much as me at this point anyway.
I doubt anyone cares what I have to say at this point but my current thought is that Maddog might be Maf alongside Dan. If we are indeed down two townies, then Dan just needs to get me voted off to win so it doesn't really matter who else he names. But by claiming that he guessed a townie N1 and a Mafia N2, he's both able to 1. justify his reveal (harder to do if he just has his given and two townies, one of which is already known) and 2. doesn't risk alienating another townie by naming them as Mafia.
Here's the count at the end of D2, known town are bolded:
Round Three Potent - 5 (Silver, Theo, KPO, Dan, Maddog) Silver - 4 (Tranter, Jaz, Potent, Rummy)
This theory also makes sense for why they whacked Rummy. She wanted to go after Potent voters, so by whacking her they had a shot at a potential inspector, and then immediately revealing lessens the chance that a second Inspector would be believed if it wasn't Rummy. This makes me want to look at either Tranter as the third in a 2-1 split or Silver if it was 3-0.

Dan has definitely employed an unnecessary fake inspector strategy before as mafia but I'm having trouble figuring out how faking here would help unless he was trying to go for a full sweep. If that's the case then I could definitely see him framing a town and a teammate for more believability. And the fact he chose to vote for Jaz over Maddog comes across as him just voting for his given when in actuality it could just be setting us up for the sweep

But that's like a major stretch so idk if I buy it. And both Jaz and Maddog were unknown to me going into today so I mean it makes a good bit of sense for them to be mafia

If I was going for a sweep I’d just name one person and not someone who’d potentially extend the game. Kind of a moot point tho since there’s only three unconfirmed roles left and no counter reveal means they’re playing for day 5.

Potent isn't known town to me
I know. He's not necessarily known to me either. I just know that Dan is Mafia, and him faking makes the most sense if they're going for the sweep, which would make Potent and Otter town.

Yeah probably. No counter could also mean Jortles or Rummy were inspector too though

Yeah true but looking into the whacks strengthen my case imo.
Jortles: Jaz was one of the otter voters when jortles switched. And him giving a town read on tranter may have given them inspector vibes.
Rummy: was probably the most critical of Jaz yesterday and even tried to get more people onto him. Also her talking about how frustrated she was would def raise my eyebrows as maf.

Yeah good point. Hopefully otter was mafia so I don't have to choke on day 5 again 😭

so Jaz was your given, you vote w him for rummy, you completely let him slip out of D2 runoff after potent serves it in a platter, don't really agree w rummy to look at Jaz later.
just feel like if Dan had been whacked it wouldn't have pointed anywhere. definitely not Jaz.
