Inforoo Cabin Weekend IRL

Tbh the worst part was how often Tranter confidently sang the wrong words to All My Friends

And he def did this on purpose bc he knew as soon as I pressed play on that for my final track selection in the battle he had lost.

Going to jot down the facts about the weekend and will accept edits / additions from anyone that was there to fill in my blanks.

Rummy got there first. Jortles and Jortles GF show up 5 minutes later. The three of us go to a grocery store right away. Most notably we purchase 4 extra bottles of champagne to bring us to 10 bottles of champagne. Its a touch awkward with “hey internet person that I talk to all the time” vibes at first. That was overcome when Rummy was preparing a delicious vegan pasta dinner for everyone and we started drinking wine. Wine, pasta-testing, Fleet Foxes on the balcony while taking in the view. Good stuff

Then a squad arrives. KPO, Tristan, Teddy and Alex. This is after KPO apparently pissed on four different occasions and made them stop a million times. The drinking starts ramping up heavy.

JTR and Danbob show up.

Its a full on alcohol night. I would guess at least 3 ppl were blacked maybe 4. A lot of billiards was played. Dan was telling everyone that “they were afriad” which was the catch phrase of the weekend. He actually said that like 3 weeks ago in a group chat and then just brought it to the cabin. Teddy set up an amazingly appropriate sound system downstairs and we were just blasting music and dancing and playing pool. Dan broke the shit out of a picnic table that ill probably have to pay for a couple days from now. I still kinda think Tristan broke the picnic table but that will be a quandary for years to come. Tristan also passed out in a bathroom and was reasonably blamed for a yellow towel that was found in that bathroom the next day. Thought he pissed on it but it was actually just the case that someone wiped up beer with a bath towel. We had Donda performance up on a laptop at one point while playing pool. Everyone besides JTR sucked at pool btw. KPO was so in the zone focusing on Donda. Yeah but this night was all just drinking and dancing for the most part. Jortles, Rummy and Teddy stayed up later than everyone else and were really proud of that being the 3 oldest crew members at 30, 29 and 29. Drunken Deep talks about marriage and life and stuff.

JTR was too afraid to call out of work on Friday so he left at like 11 on Thursday to go home. We all gave him a lot of shit for it.

Dan was also squawking a lot while drunk. It was something to behold.

Friday. Teddy is up quickly and drinking Bloodys right away. Of course Jortles and Dan are sharing Naturdays all weekend by the way. Eggs / hashbrowns were whipped up by Teddy for the group and served as strong hangover food. That morning we played Codenames, which is actually the best game of all time. Jortles and Jortles GF then took a nap for like 3 hours that everyone hated.

The rest of the group went to a nearby waterfall. Dan was doing too much and slipped and fell.

When the crew got back to the cabin, we played live Mafia. Kvothe and Kvothe GF showed up on Friday afternoon which was delightful considering they didn’t communicate much before the trip. Stayed strong and showed the fuck up. Kvothe GF immediately dropped her massive cock on the table and became everyone’s favorite very quickly. Pretty impressive considering she walked into a room full of inforoo losers with no social skills.

Tranter and NonCum drove to the wrong address that was an hour away from the cabin. That was funny. Then they showed up. At this point KPO wheels the grill out to the driveway and starts whipping up a shitload of burgers for everyone (except Tristan who actually didnt get one). Music outside grillin’ drinkin’. JTR shows back up after his bullshit work shift. The others are back in the living room playing more mafia. Then Jortles / Dan / JTR and Jortles GF went to the waterfall from earlier. Dan ate shit again somehow. Then back to the cabin with the rest of the group.

After all the burgers were eaten, the night begins. Sorta. We transitioned to being in party mode with a game of Kings Cup / Ring of Fire. Lots of Never Had I Ever and drinking and shit. Loosened everyone up. Todd and Silver Surfer show up and when they entered everyone started clapping and cheering and even screaming for them for maybe 4 whole minutes.

Molly was then consumed by a good portion of the group. Even Jortles and that was his first time courtesy of some quality salesmanship/peer pressure from the squad… mainly Kvothe. Teddy and Tranter are DJing. Big group up on the top balcony. Others dancing downstairs. Jortles posts his epic and accurate ranking of all the humans at the cabin. Lots of molly love just flying around. Squad vibing out on the porch playing drinking games until 4 am. Jortles GF starts interrogating everyone asking about regrets and stuff. And we learned about each other a lot. 5 ppl in one bed. Sorta. Jortles GF kicked people out. JTr thought he was going to stay up until sunrise but failed. 5:30 am the night ended. KPO fell asleep at like 11pm.

Saturday morning. Jortles GF makes a bunch of eggs, bacon, sausage, and sausage balls. Mimosas. Tranter, silver and KPO throwing around a football in the backyard. Then the whole group goes to a hike / waterfall. Within 4 minutes the full group is split into 3 separate groups and mostly everyone is lost or not reaching the waterfall. At the moment when one group showed up the the waterfall, it started storming like crazy. Just insane amounts of rain. Cant even believe that no phones were ruined. The group that claims to have made the most of this situation was Silver, Tristan, Dan and JTR. Apparently they made it to a secondary waterfall and swam around for a while. But yeah the rain was insane and everyone got destroyed by it and left. I was actually impressed by the strong vibes that came out of that situation. Ppl found a way to enjoy it or at least deal with it.

Got home and started playing heads up for about an hour. JTR starts whipping up a Tacos dinner. Treats us to some quality salsa and guac. Then more mafia. Then we eat tacos. Then Teddy sets up Trivia night for everyone. We did a draft to decide teams, of course. Todd / Alex / Jortles GF were dominating but then fucked up the final question and Tranter / JTR / Jortles won due to brilliant strategery. Then Teddy / Todd / Tranter start moshing to Break Stuff in the living room.

After that we were on the porch and everyone had to tell the group their favorite and least favorite part of the weekend. Then Madison leads a drinking game where we learned that Tranters fantasy is to be at a party where everyone is dressed as a one-off Simpsons character. Then downstairs to play pool and listen to music.

Battles start. Beyonce v Rhianna, Kanye v Outkast, Gorillaz v LCD Soundsystem. Rhi, Kanye and LCD won. A particular highlight was everyone jumping around and hugging and dancing to All My Friends, like super predictably. Schleep

Woke up Sunday and just cleaned and got out. Tried to hit Waffle House but there was a Thirty minute wait. Hugs and goodbyes. Until next time!

One thing Jortles forgot. The naturdays were flowing all weekend.
