nah I wasn’t gonna let that fly. Felt good about you and Dan both as town, so I just needed Potent or tranter to go D4 so I knew I could make the right move D5 if it came to that.
Was also happy to be exiled since I was on tranter
Ouch, the shade hurts here. For me, out of the three left, I didn't have a read on any of them. I figured I wanted to vote to see what they did. Jortles reacted how I wanted and it convinced me he was town; specifically that he stayed with the plan to exile Rummy instead of retaliating. Dan and Tranter both engaged in the bussing concept, so I figured it was one of them, and went with Tranter knowing we had the game won regardless of whether he was town. But had we gone Dan and the rest of us go along with it, if it was Potent/Rummy/Tranter on D5...yeah we still would have won.
wait what shade? I had to go through the process of getting a reaction from you to feel confident in what I’d clearly been leaning all along since I was on tranter behind the scenes this whole time. What shade you talking about ?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I'm probably sitting out the next one. Heading to OBX in t-minus three hours. I'll check in Saturday or Sunday to see if you need another, but I kinda want to be on vacation.

Have fun on vacation!
I mean you know I'm signing up at 3pm Sunday if there's still a spot.

Though I did just notice that D3 was only 5 and a half hours, it both started and ended while I was at work. It worked out this instance with the inspector reveal but had I not been whacked I’d have had a missed vote against me as well as suspicion for not participating. I’m down for faster rounds but I don’t think anyone should be expected to check in much less actually contribute within any given six hour period. That’s a bit too short.
Re: Oracle, is the general consensus that revealing is the optimal play? I kept quiet two games ago, even after it became apparent that I was on the chopping block. It worked out fine, but I thought Rummy’s reveal here played out better?
Still not confident on the ideal timing of an Oracle reveal, but let’s put that aside for the time being.

I'm not sure, but the way it happened with you makes me think there needs to be some delineation between timing of oracle name. Maybe that tilts the game too far in the direction of town, but when we debated whether it was you or Jortles it took a lot of the game's effort.
As far as tilting the game toward the town - maybe mafia just need to play better.

Anyway, there aren't nearly enough people signed up for 148, so I will sign up, but do not hold it against me that I'm hanging out at the beach with my family - including being an uncle to a 19 year old, 15 year old, 13 year old, 8 year old, soon to be 4 year old, and just turned 2 year old (who barely acknowledges me due to pandemic and not seeing me for over half of his life, I'm working on that all week especially).

I still think a better balance is for the oracle to give guesses during the start of the day not the end of one
