I'll replace Kylesa with Dopelord if that's okay (if they're an FA of someone else I'll replace em with another act). I just checked every act on my list and none of them were taken.

Sundust Fest is a 3-day metal festival focusing on a mix of doom, post- and prog metal with hard and psychedelic rock bands mashed in there. The smallest stage/tent is a mixture of industrial, radical punk and smaller artists, thought those would be a cool addition + way of diversifying the line-up as a whole.
S/o to Teddy for organizing this btw. Got to know a lot more metal bands in the process which left me with a lot more ads for metal music/bands lmao but okay.

Fun fact. Jex Thoth used to be the Vanishing Voice in Wooden Wand + The Vanishing Voice who made fucking WEIRD folk music. This was before James left the band and took the Wooden Wand name with him. The rest of the band found Sabbath and changed the name to Totem before finally settling on Jex Thoth.

E: Totally forgot in waking up but the name Jex Thoth was Jessica Bowen‘s stage name in WW + VV. She was married to James Jackson Toth aka Wooden Wand. It was a play on names. After they split, it stuck.

Forgot he had MBV and missed that looking at it. Thought DIIV was weird given the other stuff on his lineup. Thought the same thing about MD tbh but I think he likes them.
