I think the stands out to me more than him being quiet is that he was relatively constant re his votes, not a ton of movement out of LD and a handful of the people he voted for ended up in the final runoff so he didn't even get many revotes
if we're thinking a number of quiet players are mafia, it's possible that in lieu of whacking the lowest post count player you whack the lowest movement player

JR pretty much has to be a townie, there is no way maf sat back and allowed an auto exile. I know the few times I've been maf they were on me constantly if I got too close to a deadline. I really don't blame JR for missing though, I've considered as much dealing with a neutropenic cancer kid with an NG tube.
MD and I were Mafia with JR once and he wasn't mega active, but he certainly didn't miss votes and participated much more than he has this game. So, I would agree with you here.

let's say mafia split is like 3 loud players and 4 quiet players, you don't want to whack the 5th quietest guy because the let's look for quiet players narrative shifts to you

so mafia probably isn't made up of a bunch of low post count players because the target shrinks

if he wasn't the was LD inspector train takes over, but I think that's less likely

Not gonna lie, neither of these are bad ideas in my opinion. When signing up my situation was a bit more manageable. That being said, if there are legit suspicions of other players for the Day then yeeting a townie at this point could cost us the game.

well I think more often than not people get lucky a lot more than anything and there's only a few people I'd make throwaway whacks because they make me nervous so idk that I'm a great judge on anything like that
but there are two scenarios to me
kpo was inspector and every whack past that is potentially meaningless grand scheme
or
kpo wasn't inspector and LD was their 3rd choice at inspector, after sacrificing their own
either way, Idk that "old heads think LD is good" is necessarily a thread I care to follow rn because it could easily just be a misdirect and I sort of feel like inspector LD w a given, a potential doctor save and a vigilante kill left on the table, with all his guesses, stays quiet past d4, based on my experience playing games where he's inspector

I believe the "old heads" thing is certainly a misdirect. That's why I brought it up. I don't actually want to discuss the merits of it because it's pretty meaningless placed in some weird time constraint.
I didn't think about him staying quite but that does make sense. I was more just interested in two KPO voters getting whacked but it's likely coincidence or possible a ploy. Like I said above. I feel LD would have been the whack before Pablo if a KPO mafia was actually looking for inspector. Unless there was something in all of Pablo's posts that I'm not going to take the time to look into.
I guess I just resign myself to KPO just being a shitty inspector that did really dumb things that most inspectors wouldn't.

I was mostly just responding to the wording of Tranter's post because he said Silver if KPO was inspector. My point was that from a numbers standpoint alone it doesn't matter because KPO and Silver guarantee one dead and then he was saying one between TV/Jortles which I agree probably had one maf
I didn't say he was inspector, I was just clarifying that we can be near 100% certain that there was at least 1 mafia between KPO and Silver. At this point it seems pretty clear that KPO was inspector, but my point was that for numbers we only need to recognize that we have at least one mafia between KPO and Silver regardless of what anyone believes. Didn't mean for any of this to be a topic of conversation I was just pointing out the obvious
