We didn't kill Otter right away but we knew he could have been Vig. Seemed unfair to do it. We also thought the Ref might have just kept inspector/us the same. Plus there was a chance he'd make a mistake and help even things back up. We actually ended up whacking him because it made sense at the time. I don't remember why.
We asked to be kept the same because we'd already shared ideas and shit and were set in. Kinda got fucked there because it help turn things for KPO. But whatever. It's far from the reason we lost.
lol well that was a good move by JTR to tell us he re randomed
Meh. Kinda shitty outside the current game stuff but he kind of fucked up the whole role so town needed some help there.
If it happened to be coincidence we could have caused some real chaos.
I can’t remember who was given. I think it was Kanye.
you know I appreciate you but ummm….
Did you for real give everyone their same role again when you restarted it?
Yes I did. Mafia asked for the same roles and I didn’t see a problem with it and I was kinda drunk when I started the game and didn’t think about how it would be a problem if I gave everyone the same role. Ah well.
I think I realized the next actual day or two that that could be a problem.

the big issue I see with it is that otter had already come out as vig for the first game (before the redo), so mafia had to have known there was distinct possibility he was again , if they all got their same roles again.
Also us vanilla townies are just bitter that what ostensibly seemed to be a chance for a new / not boring role turned out the same for us all lmao
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

KPO came out firing. It was pretty interesting during my reread. Even more impressive in hindsight.
What kind of mushrooms are you on?
He came out firing by stacking two townies.
Asked about carini, of all people, after his given named literally switched last minute to save someone.
Fair enough. I was just looking at my notes in light of the results. I thought it was interesting that he came out hot and called his (unconfirmed at the time I reread) given “mafia scum” right off the bat (on page 5). He was also giving tranter and silver both shit about being mafia teammates (on p. 21). That turned out to be accurate in hindsight.
I mean I also identified KPO as sus early on and wanted to vote him out before his reveal. So what do I know.

Inspector calling unknowns mafia isn't exactly great play. Good for him for being right. But switch Tranter with Carini or you there. Not so great if he'd have gotten whacked and town narrowed him down as likely inspector.
so just going over the meta, all 7 people on me are recent players (w LD sort of being on the fringe of playing recently)
the rest have a much greater blend of old/new
have sort of been thinking the meta re to being this sort of mix and how that comes out, stuff like Potents Rummys turn (it was and he didn't this game), Kanye/tranter bickering, jortles being horny, SFA/LLL vote partners, quiet Carini, etc.
think the average on each is roughly 2 mafia voting per each r/o participant, but mine on surface feels more deliberate, because there's way less randomness to it, like me not knowing at all who ellabelle or travisty are

Mafia usually has the advantage. It is no real surprise when they win. The fact that they pulled it out this far is amazing. Esp the ones who were left. Hate saying that. I thought we were ducked as townies assuming these folks were all town.
