used set break to make it pretty far in. Dead centerish 20 rows back. Gold n man bun

"longest 30 minutes of my life" says a staff member by the exit during slow ready right now. They are discussing if they will even do an encore which I heard from another staff that they are set for 1130-1200 tonight so I think they may. But goose is jamming the shit out of their second set right now. I'm taking a break near the back
You going tomorrow? I just finally made it back to my airbnb and was either going to watch some shit or maybe go to the bar right next door but feeling lazy.

9/10 show for me. wife’s first show and my third since seeing them for the first time at bonnaroo then my second at sacred rose. haven’t seen many shows but that was my favorite so far. elizabeth -> bloodbuzz ohio -> california magic for the first three songs was worth the price of admission those songs were just really fun. rest of set 1 was also awesome but echo was the jam highlight. into the mist was a cool kind of ambient set opener then arcadia was the best jam of the night. there were a few times where i was wondering if they were playing the same song and they went back into the song so wonderfully. slow ready was a moody dance party. hollywood nights was another fun cover. butter rum was a blast and doobie song was chill. set 1, set 2, and the encore all had a good mix of exciting and chill. it was all very good overall and i’ll be listening to this show for a while.
light show was 10/10. i haven’t seen them in a venue but i loved the white sheet behind them with silhouette lights to create really cool back lighting. there were times where the band was all one color whether it was red, or blue, or green so that was really neat. goedde never misses.
i’m seeing a lot of venue complaints on reddit but i didn’t have any issues last night. staff was kind. there was a lot of demand for posters but i felt like as long as you were committed to getting there earlier and expected to wait for a little while you could still get the things you wanted. not letting in any water bottles was really lame and so was no reentry into the pit from other parts of the venue. just give out wristbands. bag and water bottle policies are both conspiracies and live nation is pulling the strings.
a lot of people complained that the pit was packed and oversold but idk we were 5 rows back and my wife said that she liked that she had enough room around her that no one was touching her. crowd around us was pleasant too. just seemed like there were more people because this is a busy couple of shows. they need to sell as many tickets as they can to make the show worth it and get people in while keeping everyone safe and i felt like that was achieved. no water was the biggest thing that was kind of bad. there were people pregaming in line and in the 40 minutes that goose was late so i think that mixed with charging people to be hydrated was a bad combination.

Last night was awesome.
I really appreciated the first set being a lot of the rootsier/bluesier lick type of songs-Elizabeth, Cali Magic, Echo and Turned Clouds puts together a great set. obviously bloodbuzz ohio was quackin dope.
Set 2 was something else though. Into the Myst was rockin and then there was a like 5 minute Myst/Arcadia ambient jam that was just beautiful, and Arcadia went full on Heartbreaker (Led Zep) jam. Slow Ready and This Old Sea is perfect, kinda Rickcorded Hollywood Nights in the middle of a blazing Sea jam but it was fine. only big complaint is that Doobie is such a vibe killing closer in my opinion.
The medical issue was really crazy-not sure how it started but I saw some guy just throwin haymakers at another dude at one point during it. like 12 staff and cops on the floor, they ended up carrying one guy who was very clearly out of it off the floor, and the guy throwin punches got to stay.
Had a fantastic time, was pretty much center and mid-back on the floor in a long sleeve tye dye shirt. saw the strokin' sign last night and it was hilarious. I'll be rockin a tye dye war on drugs shirt tonight and maybe a gray beanie if anybody wants to say hey, aiming for more or less the same spot.

lol glad you liked it. peter was giving out fist bumps and talking with fans and taking pictures after the show and my wife threw him our sign. hope he got a kick out of it
I would so buy tonights show if I could figure out how to make nugs.net work on my TV.
There may be ways to stream it from your computer to the TV. Don't know your setup though. But judging by recent activity I wouldn't be surprised if they upload full shows on YouTube in the near future.
