Been looking for an excuse to visit my buddy in Seattle and this shit slaps. Might have to make it happen even with how expensive the tickets are
Officially in for THING Fest. Tickets a bit pricey but worth it to hang with my old college roomie plus I know there will be something good happening the whole time.
Feel free to recommend a smaller name I might not know or hit me up if you also plan on being there!

Not sure if this one has been shared here already. David Shaw of The Revivalists is originally from Hamilton, OH, so this is a little local festival he puts together there. (I've never been.)
Float Fest in Texas line up got announced prematurely:
Vampire Weekend Cage the Elephant Deadmau5 Chance the Rapper Marshmello Lord Huron Chvrches Kaytranada 100 Gecs Pusha T
+ more
July 23-24th
I’m so bummed to see VW showing up on all these smaller, newer festival lineups but not on Roo’s. They were my #1 on that 2020 lineup and it’s a cruel twist of fate that aren’t on this year’s. I’ll probably try to catch them at WonderStruck or WonderRoad (if they do single day passes).
I recognize exactly one name. Also, how is that enough content for six days?
That's one more than me. Is it Buck Fuffalo?
Hahahaha I missed that one and was all 'What the fuck is this dude's problem? Probably a butthurt Ravens fan.'
No, it was Pat Green. Saw him at Bonnaroo. Set was so deserted that I felt too guilty to leave. It would've been too conspicuous. It was either stay or fake a heart attack.

I attended the 1st edition of THING in 2019, it's an awesome time! For undercard names check out Terror/Cactus, local Seattle artist makes psychedelic cumbia music. If the paella truck is there again, that is the spot.

Damn I should tell my buddy in Nebraska about that Texas festival. He's into several of those acts and I've heard a lot of em by proxy (Randy Rogers, Casey Donahew, Cody Canada - formerly Cross Canadian Ragweed)

Checking Terror/Cactus out now and yeah, this rocks. Thanks for the recommendation! Will keep an eye out for the paella truck as well.
On the offchance you remember, how did they do the stages/scheduling? Kind of curious how bad conflicts will be; Father John and Goose and Sparks all on the same night makes me a bit nervous
