I did, because the opening ceremony is on my birthday. But it does seem weird, since we just did Summer Olympics (delayed a year obviously).
I know very little about the events - Jamaica made bobsled for the first time since 1998, Shaun White is competing for the last time, Mikayla Shiffrin is a favorite again. There is a US diplomatic boycott of the games I believe, and we may not be the only ones. I've seen a lot of people suggest a boycott from watching, which I probably won't do.
