i haven't voted yet but seeing you talk about it makes me want to! i would want to send mine to claire but i agree that might not be the most strategic thing to do. i'd say sending them to tiffany would probably be the best bet as she's the person closest to claire and the most willing to protect her if it comes down to it. tiffany definitely hasn't been as amazing to me as i used to think she was, especially with all of the shenanigans between her and azah - i just always find myself more closely aligning with azah.
also i am so sad that britini is slated to leave tonight. the cookout really annoys me, based simply on the fact that its existence means my favorites will inevitably go home. i've still got hope that someone will win an HOH and take out a cookout member and completely change the game, but we'll see. the only people that could do that are claire, SB, alyssa, derek x. britini would in a heartbeat obviously but that's why she's gonna go. ugh i just feel so bad for her!

the one thing I've decided is that I will NOT be voting until after the HOH and after we get a good idea of their targets. last week I felt my votes were wasted because I didn't have all the information.
re: Brit. I really wish that the non cookout houseguests would have just played for the tie and forced Ky to cast a vote for eviction. it wouldn't have changed anything but it would have at least made some people show their cards more.
Stoked for HOH tonight. Would love to see DX or Claire take this one. While this cast is such a huge improvement and I like a lot of the players, the game is starting to get a bit boring as there's still a dominant alliance steamrolling. I'm ready for a vote flip or a Cookout member (hopefully Ky or DF) to go soon.

Really really really hoping for either of them to win, too!
I rewound to watch the Big D Tiff confrontation from around 1:15am BBT last night. It's gooooooood. Big D talks big behind her back but when she confronted him he crumpled and had no backbone. 0% surprised.
It's basically been the case that nearly everybody who goes far in this game for a decade now has been a member of a Brigade-type alliance; the Cookout is basically one of the strongest iterations of that formula since the idea was first developed. (side note: if we count Nokomis as one of the best players of this game, then the Cookout's rise to power has made me realize we need to start giving credit to BB12 Matt as one of the best players to have ever played this game.) Even with their intra-alliance bickering, it's hard not to see at least most of them making it the next few weeks, the only real thing standing in their way at this point is DX and I've got a feeling he's going to be the Target if any non-Tiffany member of the Cookout wins HOH tonight.

I took a day off from feeds so I missed this, but I just watched it, and it's definitely good! in a normal season that would have easily meant that she would VTE Big D, but probably not this season.
it sucks, because this is the final week and Claire/DX are SOOOO close.
People in the CO need to realize not everyone is at the top of the pecking order. Continuing to protect other CO players that don’t have your back is a great way to get 7th.
Not Big D saying he's going to self evict to Azah, who's literally crying because she just lost Brit... Read the room, sir! I legit think he was hoping to get voted out, he has no cigarettes left lol
This really is just going to turn out to be another Kyland HOH, isn't it? She was even rehearsing the lines he gave her....
well, I gave 20 votes to Claire even though she won't be able to use them on anything. it was more about trying to block some other players from possibly getting 100.
I might have missed that, I went to bed pretty early. I didn't think she was close to considering any Kings. she was still up this morning and it seemed like Claire/DF were a done deal. but hopefully she changes her mind after her one on ones.

Yeah I'm catching up now from after I went to sleep and seeing the DF/Claire stuff... man I was excited at first, it seemed like SB was going to stick with her "alliance" with Tiff/Claire. Bummer, but still excited to see what happens after roulette.
The amount of by-the-book backdooring they’re trying to get away with this season is astounding. First time in a long while it’s been used as a strategy *this* much, right?

the last several seasons it seems like the call any replacement nom targets the backdoor, but if ____ goes and doesn't get to play in veto we'll have 2 this year so far. but they try and use it way too often imo.
the cookout is pretty fascinating because I am very happy a black houseguest is finally going to win Big Brother but this is going to probably completely change the game for future seasons. You have to think an explicitly all white alliance will come in the next 3 seasons or so
coming into the season i was so excited to see sarah beth play. she came off as this really intelligent, sweet, down to earth player. she had a really good read on hannah the round that whitney left, but played too aggressively and made her look bad.
she teamed up with kyland and kyland was hoh last round and then she just lets him get away with completely manipulating her to the point where her noms were what HE wanted as noms and not what she wanted. they are literally all just going to lay down and die at the mercy of the cookout. becoming disappointed in some players. best case scenario is DX wins veto and takes claire off so that they are both safe. that would mean that no matter what, a cookout member would be leaving (unless replacement nom was alyssa... which isn't unlikely)

Kyland sticking around for a literal 6 hour conversation with SB last night/this morning was the most disappointing thing I've seen yet watching BB. Was really hoping she would play this for herself and kick him TF out so she could sleep so something interesting would happen. I hope the roulette powers shake things up. I gave all my votes to DX on my phone and my husband's lol
