I think Wales are better than Poland. If they go through, I wouldn't want them in my group. They are in their "golden age" and Bale is still a star (for Wales) when he wants to be.

I would not be surprised to see the US beat all of these teams or lose to all of them. Ya never know what you're going to get with these guys. Hopefully berhalter realizes that Reyna should be in the starting lineup by the time this WC rolls around.

Gio is 100% a starter if he’s not dealing with a bunch of injuries/montezuma’s revenge.

Finally watched Atleti - City. Pretty happy with going back to the Wanda 1 goal down, could have been worse. City didn’t look great and they have a very tough game this weekend, we can absolutely upset them in Spain

Wild to believe a team with as many expensive players could be this bad, but Everton has bought so horribly, I can't say I'm too surprised to see them struggle. When they spent all that money on Iwobi, I was in shock

He was an overbuy obviously, but Frank is the first manager to give him a shot in the #10 role in the last two months or so and the only reason we've created any chances at all are because of Iwobi's creativity. The list of problems are monumental, but we're in this particular situation because Moshiri hired Benitez, allowed him to win power struggles with Brands and then Digne, sold Digne, then fired Benitez. There are other problems out of our control I think - the amount of injuries this season alone is only rivaled by Leeds, I think. But certainly being stuck with Jonjoe Kenny at RB and without any depth at all in the midfield is problematic (then again, the Allan red three games ago was ridiculous and we really miss him in the spine).

I was just looking at the statistical production, I don't watch a lot of Everton. Watched today, and it just looks like none of them want to be there. I imagine most of them will leave if a relegation happens.
Can't see them not running the Championship with whatever team they have tho. They need to hold on to Gordon and Mykolenko tho. Was really surprised they didnt hold on to Thierry Small as well.

Thierry Small is just another example of the mismanagement of the club. He didn't see a path to the first team because of the presence of Digne and then Niels Nkonkou (who is on loan). LB and RB decisions are just mind-boggling - not replacing Seamus Coleman for like 5 windows in a row and then when they do, buy a 19 year old who was too expensive in August but we paid that price in January and then Frank wasn't convinced for him to be in the XI.
Today actually was pretty good effort from a few guys, Gordon has been great since getting regular time, Richarlison was energetic today, Iwobi again was more than serviceable. Kenny with awful defending on the second goal, Pickford and Godfrey with huge mistakes on the third goal (after Burnley were breaking because Kenny thought he'd shoot from 30 yards out).
There are rumors, who knows what to believe, that DCL is getting his house ready to put on the market to "move down south" (Arsenal supposedly). If relegated, DCL and Richarlison would just be the start of the exodus. A lot of the academy kids would need to be blooded in, but relegation will be a disaster - leaves questions of Bramley Moore stadium constuction and financing, FFP is a mess for the club, and when it comes down to it Moshiri and Kenwright will still be around.
