Greenwood out at Man Utd, THANK FUCK! I was so conflicted on if I could still support United after 30 years when the rumors were he was coming back. But morals prevailed for once and the abuser won't be playing for United again. Such a sad story, he really could have been one of the best of all time.

Some wild 10 man stories this weekend
Fulham drew with Arsenal 2-2 despite playing a man down while losing 2-1
Manchester United were down 2-0 in the first 5 mins, came back to 2-2, Nottingham Forest got a red card, United made it 3-2 but Forest nearly got a 3rd twice.
Liverpool scored 2 goals in final 10 mins to win 2-1 despite playing 60 mins with 10 men
Brendan Aaronson got sent off in first half for Union Berlin, but they still scored 3 more goals and won 4-1.
Union Berlin is STILL the best story going in European Football.

The Aaronson sending off was ridiculous. I'm becoming a Unioner fan though. Eisern!

Champions League draw just now. Biggest storylines
Manchester United vs Harry Kane and Bayern Newcastle group of death with PSG, Dortmund and Milan (and Pulisic reunion with Dortmund) Manchester City easy group as usual Madrid vs Napoli (very tasty matchup)

Chelsea sold off all these players, brought in new ones and still cant score goals LMAO
so now an entire squad of players who have never played together, many of whom are new to the premier league, under a new manager, are just supposed to hit the ground running? Yes Boehly and co spent a shitload but clearly they’re more concerned with their squad peaking a couple of seasons down the line when players like Enzo, Madueke Caicedo Colwill etc hit their peak

This goes beyond " hitting the ground running" They can't even score goals against clubs like Bournemouth and Forest. Something is obviously wrong

yea no we’re completely shit. Only excuse left is injuries, have to hope we’ll be a different team with Reece Nkunku Lavia Caicedo Badiashile involved. 5 points from this opening set of matches is unacceptable either way though

it could be worse. You could, like me, be a fan of a relegation threatened QPR in the Championship, whose bench is made up of mostly academy prospects and just got smacked by Sunderland at home 😭

Obviously, they needed time to gel. They have the youngest squad in the league and I'm excited for the years to come. Palmer is class.
They are also a completely different squad with Reece James - hope he can stay healthy.
Still missing a consistent scorer (edit). I like both Jackson and Broja, but probably not the answer. When is Nkunku supposed to be healthy again?

I think he's supposed to be back after this international break

yes it seems like Nkunku and Lavia will be ready for some minutes after the break. Malo Gusto and Colwill had to withdraw from international camp with injury, so not out of the woods yet as we’ll need to survive some minutes with a makeshift RB as reece still shouldn’t be playing 90s
