Any info from you VIP vets greatly appreciated here.
Looking forward to my 11th Roo and this time I sprung for VIP tickets for the first time. I didn't get a VIP car camping pass at tier 1 and I just assumed they would release more with the next tier - but that never happened. I will keep trying my luck on various outlets, but I was hoping maybe you all could give a little more insight about things closer to the gate/during the fest.
For instance: I feel, like with other large scale events, that there will be VIP car camping passes that aren't used/scanned in, or whatnot - and I like to think they don't fully run out of room for VIP car camping - but I have no idea. Is there any way at all to purchase a "pass" and get marked into the VIP car camping while at the VIP toll/in line for entry? Has anyone ever seen someone selling camping passes in these area? If you arrive Friday and there is room will they allow you to purchase entry into the VIP car camping? All unlikely, no doubt.
Sorry for the stupid questions - I'm sure I'm boned, but I had to give it a shot.
I wonder what the VIP ticket sales compared to VIP camping capacity is. There seem to be people who received "waitlisted" VIP tickets but can't get VIP accommodation?
Ah, my only real previous Bonnaroo rookie mistake was forgetting to bring extra contacts, lol.
Well, maybe they are getting swamped with this question. But 20 minutes after e-mailing info and fgt and right after posting this here I refreshed the official purchase page one more time and was able to add one to the cart and buy, haha.
I like those type of coincidences. Made it happen, haha.
