Roo 2021 Meet-Ups

Thursday: Grand Ole Opry -> Liz Cooper -> Andy Frasco -> 99 Neighbors -> Too Many Zooz

Good Thursday day for me. Really looking forward to Liz Cooper and 99 neighbors. Fun way to start the festival.

Friday: Mdou Moctar -> Waxahatchee -> Orville Peck -> Kim Petras -> Megan Thee Stallion -> Mastodon -> Foo Fighters -> Run the Jewels -> Young Thug -> LP Giobbi Sunrise (if I make it.)

Woof. This isn't going to happen lol, I'm not going to have quite the energy. There's also stuff here that I'm fine missing/will be chilling in the back for. The Turkuaz/Waxahatchee/Weather station conflict sucks, but regardless of how this plays out it will be a good day.

Saturday: Kingfish -> Uncle Acid -> Phoebe (will feel out how crowded the pit is) -> Jason (same as previously) -> Tame -> Superjam -> MMJ (pit I hope)

Far fewer shows Saturday, but more that I'm really, really looking forward to. Phoebe and MMJ are probably 1&2, and I'll probably just have to feel out how comfortable I am w/ pits and if there's space in the back like there has been previously. Will also probably feel out whether or not I dip out of MMJ early to see some Goose but that's not a sure thing. Not super happy with how this schedule panned out, definitely would've like to have caught Jon Batiste, Yaeji, and Pinegrove.

Sunday: Bill Frisell -> Makaya McCraven -> Jamila Woods -> Brittany Howard -> end of Julien Baker -> Tyler (maybe pit, if not will probably just pack some stuff up at camp early)
