The D just announced a Milwaukee date the Sunday of RF. Lock em in for Fri or Sat!
They just announced the full tour and it's probably not happening. They have Saturday open but I can't see them playing a show 5 days in a row. I mean they could and it would be awesome but probably not happening this year.
Ok I’m looking at this now and if any Riot Fest organizers are reading this I promise I will not complain about the number of ska bands you book this year if you give us Baroness. Thanks in advance.
would also be sweet if midtown added this to their reunion tour
There’s nothing I want more. Especially because Midtown only has 1 show of their own and if I want to see them anywhere else I need to drop $200 to sit in the nose bleeds at an already sold out MCR arena show.

Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I have a feeling Midtown is gearing up for a big tour in 2023. It just seems very odd that a reunion this sought after is only happening as an opening act on a tour that's already been sold out, where they'll probably only play 30 minutes.
The Bamboozle organizer has been teasing that they've booked a few big scene reunions for the fest next year. I'm assuming that Midtown is one of them, and that it'll revolve around a US tour.

Yeah, Midtown will def look to be a lock for Bamboozle. And theyre main support for their shows with MCR which means 45 minutes most likely.
How high do they get billed though at Riot. They got 2 potential reunions with Sunny Day Real Estate and Midtown.
RF can be hit or miss on booking metalcore but God Forbid is reuniting and playing shows in September and it would be swell if they got booked because their first couple of albums rule

It's wild to me that there are so many bands in the (relatively niche) Riot Fest demo that are always reuniting/doing album tours that any given reunion/album tour isn't an immediate lock. Like eventually the world has to run out of metalcore/post-rock/post-punk/post-metalcore/pop-punk/emo/post-emo bands to reunite or play an album on tour. Or inversely, they have to all eventually play Riot Fest.

I don't know, this post kind of got away from me.
Mudvayne would've been a huge deal, possibly a headliner, if Danny Wimmer hadn't got to them first

Since the other two headliners are decent grabs the third will probably be Weezer or some shit like that. With the new Arcade Fire album being produced by Godrich, that would be a nice get even though it’s not happening.
