They only booked NIN this year as a replacement for MCR, so I sadly don't think they will be on the bill in 2022. MCR, Misfits and NIN would be a very expensive set of headliners for this fest.

Totally fair. I forgot they were a replacement. I still don’t see three sets of reunions. There has to be a current-ish band there. NIN was the first name I thought of.

MCR is pretty current for this festival I would say

Definitely agree that the third headliner won't be a reunion act. Guessing it will a act about the size of Run The Jewels popularity wise

I signed but don’t see three reunions headlining. My money is on NIN.
It hasn’t happened for a lack of trying, fwiw. Really doubt it goes through next year though.
I had just gotten my drivers license when they opened for Fugazi in DC. One of my biggest regrets in life was just not driving solo to that show. I had no clue who OpIvy was until a few months later when I found the lp at a local store and was heartbroken to find out they broke up right after.
I’m in the camp that it’ll probably never happen but coming from the festival that talked both The Replacements and Jawbreaker back into existence, I’ll never say never.
They already have their reunion act for next year. Got their legacy headliner as well. I would think the best move to round out the top three would be either a metal band or a big 90s alt act. And what do you know, NIN is both!
Looking like Primavera Sound LA is the same weekend. Guessing there will be little crossover since it's clear on the other side of the country. Would've loved to see NIN, Dry Cleaning, Fontaines D.C., LOW, Shellac, and Squid...
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
