Hey all. Local in the Boro who has lived here since the mid-90s, love going to concerts, and I have to confess that I've never made it to Bonnaroo. We think about going every year and every year we end up deciding to do something else instead. That may change next year.
We have friends in Nashville who will do the VIP shuttle option every year but this is actually terrible for anyone who lives in Murfreesboro as the logistics simply don't work. I think I've posted here before that if they're doing the hotel combo packages out of Boro-based hotels it sure would be awesome if they would do a VIP shuttle option from there as well. Alas.
Second, we're considering doing a 4-day VIP next year instead but I need to confirm something. We have no desire to camp and looking at the ticket/parking options it is not clear to me if one can actually buy the 4-day VIP ticket and a GA Day Parking pass and still be able to access all of the VIP amenities. Can anyone confirm how this would work or if it is logistically impossible due to the way the entry/exit for VIP areas is set up. My concern is that everything is routed through the VIP campground which might kill this as an option.
Separate question: when do they typically announce the dates?

Thanks!
i have done VIP and day parked before. what you want to do is buy a 4-day VIP and a VIP camping pass. Then when you enter the VIP campgrounds tell the volunteers you are day parking. they'll put you in a space in VIP you can easily leave at the end of the day.
you can also a 4-day VIP and purchase a GA day parking pass, but in doing so you won't be able to park in the VIP campgrounds, you'll end up way out in day parking. so you are losing a huge benefit of VIP, the short walk to centeroo.
That seems like a reasonable plan. It wasn't clear to me that you would be able to day park if using a camping pass so wasn't sure if that would be a good option or not. Thanks!
