What on earth is going on this year with weather causing issues at festivals??? Bonnaroo and Imagine being canceled due to weather....Elements being a shit show (partially due to weather), Lost Lands Early entry being canceled, Firefly being delayed do to weather...good lort.

You mess with the bull, you get the horns, and we've been messing with the bull for going on centuries, now. I'm afraid years full of these types of elevated weather events are going to be more the norm than the exception, moving forward.
The irony being that my "home" festival, Governors Ball, is absolutely notorious for being impacted by bad weather every year, and it currently looks like they're lucking into a pretty great weekend in the midst of an otherwise messy time. Go figure.

Having all these fests so close together in the fall means that a lot of them are susceptible to weather. this just tells me that we need more fall festivals on the west coast instead of the eastern US.

hear me out, i'm starting to think maybe jerry falwell was right about punishing america with 9/11 because of gays. maybe if we all stop doing gay stuff for a while we can have bonnaroo again.
