Why do you think that Pablo mentioned me? To me it seems like he's a good inspector candidate and Rooloo was the crumb. Wouldn't be surprised if he guessed me based on my moving my vote off Rooloo before the final round.
It does seem a bit on the nose for Pablo to vote for Rooloo, his prospective given name, at the beginning of the 3 way over John and Dan. And more than a crumb, it seems like a slice or a chunk of bread.
If mafia was misdirecting, and Rooloo and I are supposed to be the targets that means the inspector can hide a bit more.

Correct. My question is why would he name me? And I gave my answer, because I switched off Rooloo and "saved" him from the final runoff.

Okay, damn. I honestly don't blame anyone for thinking this points to me, I think that's where my head would be at too based on how Pablo and I were going back and forth. GG to mafia for taking advantage of that. I agree I don't think it would be a total misdirect on N1, but from my point of view there has to be something more subtle buried here. I could definitely see a scenario where they thought they could entangle someone (me) in this, while also having a half-decent shot at inspector. Being lumped in with Potent was strange and kind of random to me, so that comment stands out. I can also see Rummy's argument for Tranter, but I think that's more of a stretch.
If it were complete misdirection, JTR stands out. Since he was closely aligned with Pablo, it kind of makes him look innocent since we assume Pablo was town. Doesn't seem too far out to think JTR/Potent could be together where this whack serves both of them differently.
I lean more towards Potent, but JTR hasn't received a vote the whole game, and I think narrative that is being pushed here is awfully convenient for him given his alignment with Pablo and stance against me. I may be reaching here, but I don't really know what else the whack could've meant and this at least adds another name to the mix.

Judging by the complete lack of action in the final runoff yesterday, I feel kinda confident we ended up with town vs town there and mafia just didn’t want to get any attention on themselves at that point. Pablo was a town read for me too, kinda annoying

On one hand I do think you could’ve been collateral damage with the Pablo whack. If Pablo was inspector with Rooloo’s name you easily could’ve switched off of him unknowingly. You did say you had *reasons* at the time (which would be nice to hear.). But also Pablo could’ve had your name and when you “saved” Rooloo he could’ve seen that as an opportunity to leave a crumb.
Just running through scenarios in my head really. I don’t necessarily believe Pablo was inspector or what I laid out is true, though I do lean one way on that though. Just laying out my thinking right now.

Guess I need to vote. Rooloo is clearly already in... whats funny is that I actually had the same thought as he expressed with his post that ended with a vote on JTR--that if it *is* at all a misdirect, JTR would be the best candidate. I mean the reality is that although I highly doubt Maf would opt to whack someone for misdirection reasons ONLY, it certainly isn't out of the question that the Maf team comprises one person who Pablo pointed to + one person who is seen as less sus in effect from his whack.

i know i do and im such a visual person so seeing the vote history laid out would be ultra helpful because sifting through post by post 1) isn't something i can really do right now in the middle of my workday and 2) is hard to visualize patterns that way

Last four voters - Cum, Rummy, Pablo, Tranter No votes - Potent, Pablo, JTR
I also find the non-stacks by Rummy and Cum interesting. Rummy could have stacked on Rooloo or Cum, chose to throw a vote on KPO instead. Cum could have voted for Rooloo, Rummy, or KPO, voted for Maddog instead.
Circling back to this. Pablo was the only person with overlap in both. It certainly would have been easier to leave him alive and frame him, which again makes me think he was inspector. It's odd, though, because Pablo ended up voting *with* Rooloo at the end of D1R1. I guess he could have thought perhaps Rooloo was distancing, or trying to keep himself under the radar - but that makes his later callout of Rooloo and me even more weird.
As far as those with no votes, I know I'm town, so it means we had 2 mafia at least with votes, and JTR is the only possible mafia who didn't get a vote. From your perspective, you could say it was me and JTR, so it makes sense for both of us to move forward.
It also means it's likely that one of Cum/Rummy/Tranter is mafia, at least going by the numbers.
