Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Cam, Taylor Swift, Luke Combs, Sturgill Simpson, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton and Dierks Bentley will not headline Lollapalooza because they’re so disappointed at the moment and they can headline some country music festivals instead of Lollapalooza.
Any thoughts on acts for Thursday? Going for Metallica mostly, will check out Manchester Orchestra, Billie Strings, and Sam Fender pending conflicts. Anyone else that's not rap/pop?

Mills, Lorna Shore (If you like heavy ass music lol), Last Dinosaurs, The Wombats, Inhaler

Check out Petey. Reminds me of a lot of early 2010’s blends of alternate/indie.

This looks even better after a few really lackluster festival lineups. Not saying it's prime Glastonbury or anything, but I can easily make a day out of all of these.
Didn't think we'd get to a point where Billy Strings vs Lorna Shore would be a prime 6pm conflict at Lolla, but here we are.
100 Gecs v Remi Wolf v Billy Strings Metallica v Caroline Polachek Wet Leg v RBCF Regrettes v Genesis Owusu Bob Moses v Dua Lipa Meet Me @ the Altar v Hinds Charli XCX v Beach Bunny Local Natives v Pinkpantheress Green Day v Denzel v Doja
Thursday: Sam Fender > The Wombats > Manchester Orchestra > oh fuck off Friday: Flipturn > Kaycyy > Wet Leg > Genesis Owusu > Royal Blood > King Princess > Glass Animals > Girl in Red > Dua Lipa Saturday: Crawlers > DAMMIT (aftershow dependent?) > Dashboard > COIN > IDLES > Turnstile > idk probably leave? Sunday: Erica Banks > Goth Babe > Djo > The Marias > Charli > Pink Pantheress > Banks > grrrrrrrrrrr
On first glance my only huge conflict is Metallica and Caroline. Hopefully Caroline does an aftershow. I have plenty to see 3 out of the 4 days with Saturday being a little light, but that's fine
This will throw a wrench into a lot of stuff heading into July if they remove her tonsils which Ill assume happens. But should be recovered for Lolla and The Weeknd tour
Sam Fender > Inhlaer > Manchester Orchestra > Billy Strings > Metallica will be the moves for Thursday for me. Worked out pretty nice. I wish Sam Fender wasn't that early but I get it.

I still think the most logical replacement is that guy who is trying to bounce back with a new album this year and playing a fest the week before in Texas. The Chicago native. Chance lol
