It’s fun to goof on Bing for taking forever in drafts because he gets so mad about it, but i’m glad he does take so long because TV is an even bigger baby about it and it’s hilarious.

Bing listens to more music in a weekend than I do all year and I find that simultaneously impressive and weird. I have always appreciated his takes on albums. I never feel like I can predict what his opinion will be like I can for many others. Rest in peace.

Damn I didn’t actually vote for Bing. He’s one of the few people left I’ve actually met. I saw him at a grocery store a few years ago. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

it's almost as if these fantasy music drafts are supposed to be a chill fun time and not a stressful experience for folks who don't prioritize posting their picks ASAP even when the turn hits them at 2am.

I actually did meet Matthew Perry once. He and Martin Sheen came by my office like 10 years ago when they were doing a publicity tour to support specialized drug courts (a good cause designed to allow people to complete substance abuse programs instead of serving jail time).
Anyway, they put aside some time to take selfies with the junior staff. Literally everyone was lining up to take a picture with Martin Sheen. Just a big long line wrapping through the office, and Matthew Perry was just standing there by himself for 20 minutes because no one gave a shit about him. I eventually went over and grabbed a picture with him out of sheer pity.
It was fun watching Bing try to convince headoverfeet that Taylor and Kacey are pop. Or that certain artists have played Coachella. Pointless, but done with such dogged determination. Like the truth still matters in this chaotic and crazy world. We will miss his beacon of light coming forth from across the sea. RIP

I tried to go out yesterday to be permanently aligned with Jimmy Buffett in terms of inforoo favorability. I was not afforded that luxury. Chandler Magdalena Bing has taken the crown right from my cheeseburger in paradise head.
I skipped Jimmy Buffett and went straight to Justin Bieber. Presumptous of me I know. But Jim Watson already had it and I was trying to prevent further confusion.
