Katy Mae and I went to Bonnaroo together in 2010. We did VIP. Had a blast, but it’s the year our dear sweet carpedm01 died at Bonnaroo. We were gutted, so we packed up our shit that Sunday evening, hit up a fast food joint and went home. I also met her in NY in December 2018 for the LCD show. I took the subway all by my little self to Brooklyn and when I got off at the station close to her Airbnb it was snowing. It was a beautiful and magical walk that I will always remember. We had pizza 🍕 before the show. She’s a great person to see a show and grab a bite with. I had hoped to meet up with her again next year when I come to NC for RATM. I will dearly miss her. RIP
One year on turntable, Katy Mae, myself and others played the Team America theme song so many times that they banned us from playing it in the room temporarily.
