People were basically chosen based on commenting or liking posts in the "sign up" thread - not by nomination.

Sang's ability to guesstimate a crowd size from a photo was my first memory of laughing at an inforoo thread (Music Midtown 2013). Me, him and Deto also pioneered the JQBX battles which were a pandemic inforoo staple and are apparently still hanging on by a thread today. RIP.
