You thinking that me, rummy and JTR knew Theo was inspector early so we had time to plan out… getting rummy and jtr in the final four, planning a fake where we guarantee a game loss via hedging… is stupid enough to where I think you may be bullshitting here and Im starting to feel more and more ok with my vote on you.
And you are pretending to think I was the sensible whack when hedging is such an obvious possibility with this town especially given last game. Of course mafia would leave me around for this exact result. Im not locking on you yet, but im not sure town Potent is even capable of this post. And to make matters worse, you didnt participate at all post reveals, but you admitted to that not being due to absence, rather you were following along and witholding your thoughts. That was a flag to begin with but was holding out for something insightful.

If you're town, you need to come up with a better answer than me, and a better reason than I was withholding my thoughts. This is what gets me so frustrated with playing with the same regulars all the time - if I'm active, I'm steering the narrative and sus, and if I'm quiet, it's a red flag because I'm withholding stuff and I'm sus.
Rationalize the moves that Jortles / Rummy / JTR have made if I had Theo sniped as inspector on page 2.
I'd even like you to think about how much effort I ended up having to put in post JTR's reveal. Theo basically put in no effort as the inspector which was honestly a little annoying as I feel it was his case to make as much as it was mine... probably more. Since he was basically doing nothing, why would I go so hard on his behalf and lift up the truth when if JTR / Rummy "won" that battle, a mafia of JTR / Rummy / Jortles would have been way better off.
But then going back to hedging. When JTR reveals, it allows Town to know they only have one more to go. It allows for a more comfortable scenario for hedging to occur. We learned this from Rooloo just last game. How on earth would it be the play to not only give town that information, but then to also take the risk of naming a third... that town now has the luxury to exile as a hedge with an excess of remaining days.
If you are town, I think you'd read through again while imagining us three being mafia together and thinking about how any of this makes sense. I simply don't believe you've done that exercise at this point. You are giving this terrible, terrible effort of a fake from rummy and jtr value by giving them a free day pass. And that honestly sets a bad precedent moving forward as any future mafias know they get an automatic free day as long as they put minimal effort into a fake because town would rather hedge than figure out what they actually think.

I also kind of think the Tranter whack was supposed to frame Jortles a little and then Potent locks on Jortles already D3. Just smells a little fishy to me. Either way I'll be suprised if Jortles v Potent is Town v Town, but we all know how solid my reads are lol. I've been playing much more laid back this game to avoid overthinking it

I've read the entire thread twice (in addition to playing through it), but I'll read it again. IF you are town, which of course is a distinct possibility, then when are you going to learn to keep your mouth shut about the inspector? Good job figuring out who inspector is, bad job keeping it quiet.
Your whole defense smacks of "mafia wouldn't do that", which we all know is false. The exact reasons you would do that on a team with JTR/Rummy is because you *wouldn't* do that as mafia, it's a circular argument. You can keep going around on it, but I'm not going to.
So here's my question - you obviously believe JTR/Rummy are mafia, as do I. Where do you go on D4 after you find out I was town? Because I'm trying to figure out where I'd go if in the alternate world I found out you were town, and maybe go there today instead.

Since me locking my vote for the guy who voted for me was fishy, I'll unlock and remove my vote, and wait for anyone to have a semblance of a rationale for voting for me.
For what it’s worth I don’t think maf had a read on Theo as inspector. If that were the case I bet rummy would vote for Theo over distancing Jtr with her revote day 1.
I feel pretty confident in the idea that it was rummy and JTR. They were acting weird and really didn’t do that much to sell otherwise. I feel like there would have been way more of a fight otherwise.

Yeah Rummy and JTR didn't fight that hard, especially Rummy on D2. Cum is interesting. She was a last to vote/no votes overlap, but Potent was too. Working through a re read, trying to note what Dan said about Cum and KPO said about possible Potent/JTR distancing.

I’m definitely not mafia I had no reason to be suspicious of JTR before the whole inspector thing happened and I moved off rummy cause I thought it would help, never switched my vote because the majority had already voted JTR and my vote wouldn’t have made a difference anyways.

It would be great to get the extension all the way to 10pm or even tomorrow. The more I sit on it, I think the runoff should be Dan and Rooloo or one of them and Potent, and I'd be interested to see if there could be any traction on that from anyone else.
Last game when Cum was Mafia, she was very snippy. Almost like a frustration that Ive felt before when you know information and the people that dont know anything are annoying you accidentally because they are stumbling into things. She kept throwing shots at me like "everyone got the joke but you" and stuff like that. I think he tone looks significantly different and I think she may have been more combative and unpleasant by now if she was the last remaining mafia member with a pile on occurring.
Rooloo and Dan have both played very neutral. I think Pablo kinda popped Dan in the nose when he said "I can't believe Dan is even considering that JTR is Inspector" and Dan almost shaped up right after that. I'll post something random about Rooloo right below this.

This post bothers me in two places... I think. I've been going back and forth on it.
1. I instantly recognized the Tranter whack as a frame of me and was waiting to see if someone else brought it up. It feels like the person who was in on that plan would someone who was in on it.
2. This bolded part doesn't sit well for me. I'm becoming more and more of a believer that people who have roles are more interested in explaining why they aren't participating as much or why their play is questionable. Even if the reasoning is true. Theo's brain fog, Rummy's partner having a bad night. I feel like it could be the case that Rooloo is sitting very pretty, feels good about his standing with the town, but knew that a call out of his lack of impact could be coming because as someone with a role you get very self conscious like "I bet people are going to notice this"... so he could be getting out in front of it with that line. Just a small information that could be way off.
Another thing about a Dan / Rooloo runoff is that I think a 2-1 split on the final runoff of day 1 would be more likely than a 3-0 especially with a fake reveal involved.
Just reads Town to me, mainly. Kind of a vibe. He also had a couple interactions with JTR and they seemed genuine. And I feel like we've been seeing the game in a similar way.
Is your read on him based mainly on your read of Cum?
