So every festival could essentially book Radiohead and Frank Ocean for example as long as everyone is not competent with another festival. That seems idk, a little weird.
I think we will get the hang of it. The idea initially was that we will share some acts so ultimately our curation skills will be tested versus taking the next best act on the board. So in this case the fest with Radiohead and Frank aren’t automatically winners since there could be other fests sharing the same names.
Ultimately wanted to give us more freedom to book our ideal fest. I thought the radius clause rule might just add an extra layer to the game, keep us somewhat in check, and mimic a real life obstacle agencies might encounter.

Are the festivals (and their dates) in the OP locked in or are there going to be changes made before we start drafting? Just checking before I pour too much time into analyzing what's currently there haha

I honestly think we will keep things as is unless there’s something that we think needs to be changed.

I’m going to stop signups tomorrow at noon. I’ll do draft order at that time. How does everyone feel about selecting festivals Monday?
The Draft Order has been posted in the OP. Selections officially begin tomorrow at 7 PM EST.
shuck and stlallison are free to make their choice at any time. Otherwise they will have 2 hours on the clock starting at draft time. The two hour window will remain in effect from 9-9 EST while drafting unless we want to change it. This window applies to everyone, so non-US based contestants need to coordinate as you see fit with your team as you will still be in the clock.
Let's see if we can get this done by the New Year.
