My biggest complaint with Smoothie is I’m not sure why it’s even here? Is it considered a breakfast food? I don’t think I’ve ever had one for breakfast.
Not a smoothie defender but I used to routinely have green smoothies for breakfast.

I have smoothies for breakfast and y'all obviously have only eaten some shitty ass yogurt. You need to up your yogurt game and see what you are missing out on. I personally love Noosa, but the stoneyfield and chobani yogurt are pretty tasty also. Plus, they make a great base to almost any smoothie.
eggs benedict should win this thing, cant believe its getting votes already
my biggest issue is that whatever wins should be a complete breakfast. like, bacon and sausage are both great, but they're a breakfast side, or part of a breakfast.
stuff like omelets, eggs benedict, breakfast burritos, egg sandwiches need to come out near the top.

Call me back when they make a yogurt that doesn’t smell like you’re extracting a thousand year old Irish bog mummy when you open it.

I was #4. I would've stuck with crepes to see how the day goes but since you're apparently just going to close the poll when you get the result you want I'd rather throw my support behind a contender.
I always close it after midnight central, whenever there's not a tie. Round 1 was weird because it stayed tied every time I looked at it until the morning, and even then I closed it as soon as the tie was broken, and not in the way I wanted

But the question posed is which is the worst breakfast food, not which is the worst breakfast. I don’t think being a more complete breakfast necessarily makes something a better breakfast food.
I once got food poisoning from eating a runny egg at a Waffle House in Florida. Thankfully it wasn't as bad compared to my then gf who ended up in the hospital for three days.
Well there is your mistake. You went to a Waffle House in Florida.

oh then the best breakfast food is technically cream cheese. or butter.

PreCovid we were required to serve smoothies as part of breakfast three days a week.

Cream cheese and butter are either condiments or ingredients, depending on how they are used. While you technically could eat them by themselves, I’m going to go out in a limb and say most people are not just sitting down to a stick of butter by itself because it wouldn’t really be enjoyable that way. Bacon isn’t a complete breakfast, but it still can be enjoyed solely on its own merit.
And yes, bagels should definitely have been on this list.
smoothies are the go-to "healthy" breakfast for a lot of people who enjoy cramming 1300 calories into a blender to start their day
Fruit smoothies are a clean breakfast but not really healthy because of all the sugar. You definitely crash by noon if you have a smoothie for breakfast.

I'll eat spoonful of cream cheese, not butter though.
