The thing is, French toast is easily more inconsistent than pancakes. I'm mystified that it would be even close, though. Blueberry pancakes are great.

Yeah. I'm a little mystified here myself. I voted cakes previously to save other selections, but French toast is just not as good as a great hotcake in my opinion. Maybe this is a retaliation vote for eggs Benny? Is this not a "retaliation free" space? I'm going to speak to HR.

Well hells bells. I just polled three dudes in my house and all three said I'm crazier than a shit-house rat. Said French toast is much better than hotcakes. I even offered the "what about peanut butter and syrup on your cakes?". Still a resounding nah. Who knew.

I was on French toast, but it looked like it was going to be between pancakes and biscuits and gravy with a real chance of biscuits and gravy getting cut. Because I adamantly believe that pancakes should go before biscuits and gravy, I switched to pancakes.

True but you still have bacon and sausage which are still side dishes to pancakes. They both should have gone waaaay earlier.
With the preface that I know better than to state any preference for any of these foods at all in this scenario and that immediately after saying this I will take a couple moments to reflect before throwing myself off a cliff like everyone wants: the problem with this statement is that most bacon tastes better than most pancakes.
