Shouldn't we be voting on which one of these is the best and the worst one is the last one standing? Otherwise we're crowning our winner in the first round.

Important clarifying question: is this the solo piano version or the kids choir version of Christmastime is Here? Because I think the former wins this thing in a walk

it's like the egg sandwich in the breakfast survivor, it's whatever the best version of that song is to you.
feels like the "this song is actually bad!!!!!" discourse around "Baby It's Cold Outside" is just tired at this point
It’s still bad though?
what my thesis presupposes is that "Do They Know It's Christmas" is both a worse song, musically, and a worse song, ethically/morally, than "Baby It's Cold Outside"

And what I’m saying is maybe, but if I can ignore it easily is it truly worse? If a bad song plays in the woods does it make a sound?
I had never heard the Do They Know it's Christmas until I googled it right now and WOOF those lyrics. Standing by my Baby It's Cold Outside vote because of the fact that actually I know this song, have heard it every fucking year even after it was "canceled" and have always hated it. Do They Know It's Christmas is definitely next up for me.

I think we are looking for the nest song overall like the previous survivor polls. Theoretically speaking, we are finding the 20th best song on the list with this round and so on and so forth until we find the best song in the last round which is why it flips to voting for the best in that final round.
Not sure if you really mean Let it Go, which is definitely not a Christmas song, but is also not on the list, or Let it Snow, which is on the list and is arguably not really a Christmas song either but is one that gets played at the holidays like Baby it’s Cold Outside and other songs about weather.

We should be happy this woman is letting go and getting her fun!
I’m in this camp. And although there aren't a lot of versions of this song that I particularly enjoy, I do really really love the Rufus Wainwright and Sharon Van Etten version, which I listen to over and over around this time of year so this one won’t get a vote for me any time soon.

I always end up fucking up the Survivor polls the first rounds, and then at least another round. I was ready to ugly cry fight JTR for a minute over B&G, then SFA pointed out that I was maybe reading things wrong since it is Survivor poll. Literacy skills, man.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Let’s be real here, John Lennon’s Christmas song is less about social-political undercurrents in the 1970s and more so about having a really good excuse to not get gifts for his family and friends. (“Why should we celebrate when others can’t?!”)
