ngl this is by far the hardest survivor I've done yet, as far as typing up answers and making sure I don't double things up. The names are all way too similar

Vote for the one with the title in Spanish. Heard.
At this point I am voting with the majority and I don't knowwhich song I am voting for until I see what y'all are voting for. I only know which ones I will not vote for. Plus, after being forced to listen to some trash Christmas song, I will not be listening to the ones I don't know. I feel I have learned my lesson already.
Christmas Wrapping? Really? That song rules. Someone tell me where to move my vote from Feliz Navidad so we can avoid this travesty.
I’m only voting for it because I’ve never heard of it and the name sounded kind of dumb to me. If someone wants to make a case for something different, I’m all ears. I don’t want to vote for Feliz Navidad because I think it’s kind of fun.

Scratch that. I looked it up and listened to it. I’m fine with leaving my vote on this one.

I am open to hearing why I shouldn't vote for Christmas Wrapping, as long as I don't actually have to listen to it and you don't want me to vote for my favorites (which I am not sharing what they are).

Listen, I know you were burned before but instructing people to describe songs for you because you don't want to listen to them is like asking someone to describe a colour you've never seen because you don't want to open your eyes. Plus, everyone was saying how bad the Band Aid song was and everyone is saying how good the Waitresses song is. Just listen. You've heard it and you like it.

I'm moving off of Wonderful Christmastime to Jingle Bells to try and save Christmas Wrapping. There's nothing particularly good about Jingle Bells. It's super repetitive and dated.
Christmas Wrapping is a classic to everyone that grew up in the 80s.
Not sure what specifically you mean by “grew up in” the 80s, but I was a child in the 80s (born in ‘79), and I had never heard of Christmas Wrapping until this poll. Same for my husband who is four years older than me. .

really? I was born in 74 and it was played all the time on 91X and KROQ growing up. maybe it was a California thing? still, it's a classic
plus, the lyrics pretty much sum up how I feel about the holidays every year:
Bah Humbug, now that's too strong! 'Cause it is my favorite holiday But all this year's been a busy blur Don't think I have the energy To add to my already mad rush Just 'cause it's 'tis the season The perfect gift for me would be Completions and connections left from last year Ski shop encounter most interesting Had his number but never the time Most of '81 passed along those lines So deck those halls Trim those trees Raise up cups of Christmas cheer I just need to catch my breath Christmas by myself this year Calendar picture, frozen landscape Chill this room for twenty-four days Evergreens Sparkling snow Get this winter over with! Flash back to spring time saw him again Would have been good to go for lunch Couldn't agree when we were both free We tried, we said we'd keep in touch Didn't of course 'till summertime Out to the beach to his boat Could I join him? No This time it was me Sunburn in the third degree Now the calendar's just one page Of course I am excited Tonight's the night I've set my mind Not to do too much about it Merry Christmas, merry Christmas But I think I'll miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas But I think I'll miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas But I think I'll miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas But I think I'll miss this one this year Hardly dashing through the snow 'Cause I bundled up too tight Last minute have-to-dos A few cards, a few calls Because it's RSVP No, thanks No party lights It's Christmas Eve, gonna relax Turn down all of my invites Last fall I had a night to myself Same guy called, Halloween party Waited all night for him to show This time his car wouldn't go Forget it, it's cold, it's getting late Trudge on home to celebrate In a quiet way unwind Doing Christmas right this time A&P has provided me With the world's smallest turkey Already in the oven, nice and hot Oh damn! Guess what I forgot So on with the boots Back out in the snow To the only all night grocery When what to my wondering eyes should appear In the line is that guy I've been chasing all year 'Spending this one alone, ' he said 'Give me a break, this year's been crazy' I said 'Me too, but why are you You mean you forgot cranberries too?' Then suddenly we laughed and laughed Caught on to what was happening That Christmas magic's brought this tale To a very happy ending Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year Merry Christmas, merry Christmas Couldn't miss this one this year

just read those lyrics posted above, it's a better story than any hallmark movie and you don't even have to listen to the song (but you should!)

Nah. Not just a Cali tune. It's always been on the radio here in NY, too. In recent years it's been used in a handful of commercials, too.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
