I mean, shit sucks, I guess, but I still think it's a pretty decent song, as far as Christmas songs go. Seems a little odd to begrudge him the commercial success. A lot of artists' most popular songs aren't their best. The alternative would be that most English-speaking people wouldn't know about him at all.
