also, you can all see me here toward the middle of the picture in my red pullover and black jacket to the right of my girlfriend who is ducking from our first beer shower of the szn; twas a fun time
I’m just confused bc you don’t actually look like a cat here…!?
also friend u have still yet to comment on my podcast episode smh
Who's excited for the fabled 3post1jack1 episode?!
it was a real pleasure and strangely therapeutic, though the hour flew by and feels like a blur. fairly certain i got teary-eyed twice. not apologizing for that. but i do apologize for the i think inordinately long amount of time i spent opining on the headphone hobby drama of the mid to late aughts. i did double check afterwards and at least as of 2019 mikhail has never been brought to justice.
Did I really just listen to an hour of 3post1jack1 talking without hearing ice cream brought up once? Huge failure. I blame Silver Surfer .
I have one acceptance to UMMC in Jackson, MS, and I had a great interview with Tulane back in December so I am hoping to get a decision on that soon. pending Tulane acceptance, I will likely choose between those two.
I applied to 6 other schools, been rejected by 3 and haven't heard from the other 3 yet. it's getting late in the cycle and I'd like to get a move on trying to find a place to live/preparing to move so UMMC and Tulane seem like the most feasible options given the other 3 schools are Wake Forest, Tufts, and University of South Alabama (which is a little too close to home for my liking and has small matriculating classes so I'm not sure how I feel about that)
I'd be happy to end up at either UMMC or Tulane but will just have to weigh the pros and cons of each. unfortunately Tulane is twice as expensive and obviously NOLA has a higher cost of living, but I love NOLA so the extra loans might be worth it lol
the good news is you only have to put down $10,000 to begin the build process, you don't have the pay the remaining $49,000 until the headphone is ready to ship to you.

we need people to sign up so we don't already have to do encore episodes.
We need a redo on garageland because of the terrible sound issues.
honestly we should just get a professional voice actor to read GL's parts and we can splice it into the existing podcast. i think will arnett would be great.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
that’s the goal! i think that’s an essential part of effective healthcare
also helps that my girlfriend is going to nursing school and some of my favorite clinical experiences thus far have been with nurses i’ve worked with, so i have tons of respect for y’all!!

I would be highly entertained by an episode where sang_xcx tries to objectively prove that Clemson is better than SC which is countered by Cookin' Mama not giving a shit.
