I would be highly entertained by an episode where sang_xcx tries to objectively prove that Clemson is better than SC which is countered by Cookin' Mama not giving a shit.
There's no need for that. It's a fact and he definitely gives a shit about that fact.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

That's the best part. You would keep trying, and he would continue not caring. As the hour continued, you would get increasingly angry while he never changes.

You come defend Tennessee
Tennessee is mediocre and will probably continue to be mediocre forever. I've come to accept that.
not yet finished with the episode but made a note of your Phish moments/shows 3post1jack1 so i’m looking forward to hearing some of them later tonight!
this has been a great episode, and I hope you catch you at least one night at The Wharf
3post1jack1 getting so emotional over Phish was amazing.
www.phishtracks.com/shows/2000-06-24/guyute. this the guyute from my second show/first run i talked about on the podcast, if you want to pinpoint the moment when i knew i'd always be chasing this band. the album version will give you the idea for those who don't like AUDs.

i left out a bunch of moments because i didn't want to take up the rest of our time talking about phish, but a few more:
1. hampton 2009 fluffhead opener, obviously. the single highest energy live music moment i've ever been a part of. this fan made video captures the moment best. god the fucking crowd roar when they realize phish is opening with fluffhead. unbelievable.
2. magnaball tweezer > caspian. amazing moment, great tweezer jam that kind of got the wind sucked out of it when trey went into caspian, but then they restarted the tweezer jam during caspian.
3. dicks 9/4/2016. another personal moment, they went out of light > the lizards. i was on the floor and locked eyes with some random dude and we spontaneously embraced.
4. 1/3/2015 miami. another transition out of light, but this time > sneakin' sally. was with my buddy who shares my love of new orleans music. the transition was so perfect and sneakin sally was so unexpected that my friend absolutely shrieked with delight and we started hugging and jumping up and down and every inch of my skin was covered in goosebumps. wild to have such a physical reaction.
tons and tons of other great moments of course but these were what popped in my head before the podcast.

barely into 3post1jack1’s episode but i can’t stop laughing at him talking about how superior it is to be a day parker lmao
listening to myself this morning, i had so much passion about day parking, i realized i might enjoy actually leaving bonnaroo as much as any set i saw that day.

I really appreciated your enthusiasm for doubling up on Waffle House every day. True Southern gentleman stuff right there.

That's the best part. You would keep trying, and he would continue not caring. As the hour continued, you would get increasingly angry while he never changes.
Just wait until I bring up our Women's Equestrians power house from the mid 00's to the mid 10's

yeah but neither of you attend the school of the defending women's golf national champions
Mrs. GL just walked into 3post1jack1 talking about Headfest and shook her head and walked out. Pretty sure she’s trying to figure out wtf is wrong with all y’all.

3post1jack1 , if you thought the naked guy was the highlight of JPJ then you should have hung out with Mrs + Mr GL and strumntheguitar . That’s the infamous Phish show where I spent the night in at the Albamarle County Jail because one of us had to much to drink. Things happened and cops were bitten and people tased.
While we didn’t stop drinking, we did put a ban on liquor for concerts.

That story needs to be on GL ep.2! Also, does your kid need any more Thomas trains or tracks? I've got a LOT.

sounds wild, but i forgot to mention that before the show i ate five guys and it gave me a tummy ache. so you could say things were pretty crazy with my crew too.
im not from Texas but I lived there while in grad school. It was the last place I lived in the US before moving to Australia, so when people ask where I’m from it’s the one that comes to mind at first then I have to change my answer. Lol
