This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

personally i wish bonnaroo would just release one or two bands a week instead of dropping a full lineup all at once. like now i have plenty of time to explore the brook and the bluff's rich discography. and they should mostly book bands with just like one EP out so i don't have to spend too much time listening. i only want new bands without a ton of music recorded. and i don't want the music to be intense or challenging, i just want something to listen to in the background. just music that i listen to and barely even notice it's there.

All I am hearing is complaints about the Roo Clues but this being my 5th Roo I have never been more excited. Call it development in my growth with music but my first two Clues were being excited for big name mainstream indie acts but the magic of Roo Clues isn't who will be there, it's about DISCOVERING all of the amazing music out there.
while I am mainly an indie guy, the possibility of Glaive, Tai Verdas, and The Brook and the Bluff has me shaking in excitement. I'm gonna fucking party and I want all of you fucks dancing with me.
I'm bored so took a quick look back on Roo's IG. The Roo clues for 2020, in order, were:
Marc Rebillet Pinegrove Rezz King Gizzard Still Woozy JID Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Nelly
Mostly solid across the board, and was indicative of the lineup as a whole. Perusing reddit, the first clues in 2019 were The Nude Party, Clairo, Little Simz, Parquet Courts, Gojira. Whereas in 2017 our first clues were like Getter, Orwells, NGHTMRE, and Borgore. And we all saw how that lineup turned out.
So while these obviously won't be the better names on the lineup, it's still the artists Roo is choosing to build hype. These next couple clues could be telling.
