We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

We are all Peanuts Children. Let’s be honest. Our parents made no sense to us. They sounded like the Peanut’s parents. We are forelorn yet hopeful in this season. And every season. And every pandemic.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I've started to actively dislike Christmastime Is Here. I used to be indifferent. I have it on my Christmas playlist. It's fine. But it's appalling that songs like All I Want For Christmas Is You and Christmas In Hollis are gone and that one is still hanging around.
Ironically, as a result of this draft I am now noticing how often “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” comes up on Christmas playlists (read: it’s playing right now at work) and now I actively hate it as opposed to passively tolerating it.

It's a great novelty song but it shouldn't be in heavy rotation.

My dark horse favorite "classic" Christmas song is I'll Be Home for Christmas. The Sufjan version in particular is excellent
Peanuts and Please Come Home were the top 2 I'd been hoping for at the start, so I can forgive some of the other missteps (cutting LCD so early, etc.) if that ends up happening
I'll Be Home For Christmas was the backstory that I had thought Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas had.
Either way, it's clearly one of the best songs which is why it isn't in this poll of worst songs that is going in the opposite order.
For me it's White Christmas > Baby Please Come Home > Christmastime Is Here from the remaining trio. White Christmas is just the most versatile of the bunch.
