Radiohead - Gorillaz - Dolly Parton Lana Del Rey - Vampire Weekend - My Morning Jacket
I'm not sure how it would go but with Vampire Weekend leaning a very little into jammy stuff lately I think a late night Vampire Weekend set (with a guest or two and extended set list) could be something pretty special. With this lineup I'd fucking kill for Vampire Weekend and My Morning Jacket getting 2+ hours on Which stage late night each night. Friday Vamp Weekend and Saturday MMJ. Give them 2 hours but no one after so they could go 3 or 4 if they really wanted. I'd be there for full sets if that happened.

Would Paramore releasing a new album presumably before Roo push them into headliner status or just firmly top 6?
Firmly top 9, possibly top 6. Probably not top 3 (though I think they have the hits and the appeal to headline). They are one of my top hopes though. Album should be out this fall.

Ezra did tease that they had enough songs for a new album. If the new album is like Father of the Bride a late night set would make a lot of sense with a good mix of the new jammy stuff and their hits from the first few albums. Would've loved to see where they were scheduled in 2020. They've already done the pre-headliner What spot so that'd be a bit boring.

looking at 2020 sunday’s billing i’m almost certain it would’ve been lana opening for tame on what then young thug opening for vampire weekend on which
Not sure anyone who played this year needs to headline ever.
ok but Gizz in five years is gonna be one of the biggest bands in the world, probably
from a popularity standpoint, has Gizz really grown that much over the past few years?
i don’t remember what the fan base looked like when i started following them back around 2016 but my understanding has always been they’re absolutely loved in a cult following type way, so i haven’t been able to gauge their mainstream growth if that makes sense

They closed the second biggest stage at Coachella this year. I think they've certainly gotten bigger year after year. Relentless touring and constant new material seem to be working their magic.
Now, there is a decent argument to make that, unless they have a pop hit like Portugal The Man, they've reached their popularity peak. They need a crossover single to truly go to the next level.
