Booking an artist based on how popular you think they’ll be after lineup release really isn’t that uncommon. If SZA is a borderline headliner with 1 album I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say my second album will be out before the fest so I’m only taking headliner bookings now.
Brad Parker from C3 appears to be shooting down the Kendrick confirmation.
Yea. I’ll believe infinitypass over Brad Parker. Especially when they have an interest in the headliners not leaking.
Saying he is shooting down the Kendrick rumor there is a bit sensationalized as that is not said at all. All he said was “should we trust the person that got Drake wrong”. In reality, we all know IP made a mistake and didn’t click through all the spoilers. This feels like Brad being salty he isn’t in the know tbh.
As someone who is more invested in the lineup release hijinx then the actual lineup, I really hope Infinitypass comes through here.
I can accept the busted Drake scoop as miscommunication. But a second busted scoop would bring strong "Jordan on the Wizards" energy. I don't think he's totally washed, but a second misstep here would hurt.
